I had a lot of fun making this tintype stop-motion from 4 individual self portrait plates this evening in honor of entering a new phase 🌖 With endless gratitude, I share the end of Armadillo Tintype Studio… in its current form at least. Books close 12/31. It’s been a wonderful 9 years and the studio will still be here, but mostly for personal work and I’d love to work on special projects if you have anything in mind! ♥️ Lucy, the greatest ♥️ Last week we lost the world’s best hot potato. Everyone’s favorite bean. Our sick little puppy who beat the odds and spent 14 beautiful years terrorizing children and coming everywhere with us. A fancy little pure bred lemon adopted as a mill “throw away” who thought she was a 60 lb adventure dog. At 13, Lucy hiked with me almost every day last summer til she got too tired and I carried her on my back. I’d carry her forever if I could. So grateful almost all of you got to meet her in our years traveling the road together for work and play. It was a good life. I know shes getting belly rubs from her lover Tone on a beach somewhere in her new universe ✨ by @alt__vee
