AT Highlight: Just over a decade ago, Reem was a young attorney starting to build her real estate portfolio. After being led astray by an inexperienced realtor, she decided to get her own license. How different could the test be from property law on the bar exam right? After years of litigating the law and growing as a realtor, she decided to partner in opening a brokerage. She is a long way from the days when she sold art on the streets of Italy - but she says AT is one of the best decisions she has ever made. Swipe to see some of her art! —————-> taken in San Diego, California by @alta.tera

✨Let’s talk about Nareene Karakashian✨

Nareene brings a distinctive combination of legal experience, local knowledge, and genuine care for the people she serves. As an attorney, she has built her career around advocacy, attention to detail, and helping people navigate complex situations with confidence—skills that translate naturally into her approach to real estate.

With roots in Pasadena and more than 12 years in San Diego, Nareene has experienced firsthand the unique communities that make Southern California feel like home. From Linda Vista to La Jolla, her time throughout San Diego has given her an appreciation for the character of its neighborhoods and the families who shape them.

For Nareene, real estate is about far more than a transaction. It’s about belonging, stability, and putting down roots. She is especially passionate about working with families and first-time buyers, taking the time to educate, advocate, and make sure her clients feel confident and protected throughout the process.

Thoughtful, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to her clients, Nareene brings exactly the kind of people-first approach we value at Alta Tera.

We’re so excited to have her on our team! Reach out to her if you have any questions!

✨ MEET EMMA ORTEGA ✨

We’re excited to welcome Emma to Alta Tera as a real estate agent.

Emma brings a strong educational foundation in real estate, earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Real Estate from San Diego State University. Her studies gave her an in-depth understanding of the industry and helped shape her passion for building a career centered around people, relationships, and the places they call home.

Beyond real estate, Emma has a genuine curiosity about the world around her. Her love of travel has allowed her to experience different cultures, broaden her perspective, and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. 🌎 Fluent in Spanish, she values communication, meaningful relationships, and taking the time to understand each person’s individual needs.

Emma approaches real estate with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a thoughtful perspective. She understands that a home is more than a property — it’s a reflection of a client’s lifestyle, goals, and the life they’re building.
