Hay historias que empiezan mucho antes de que sepamos que las estamos escribiendo.

Para Amor y Amistad quisimos hablar del amor desde un lugar diferente. No solo del amor que se dice, sino también del que se enseña, se comparte y deja algo en nosotros.

Por eso quisimos tomarle fotos a las herramientas de nuestro tío Daniel. Herramientas que durante años han pasado por sus manos y que representan mucho más que un oficio: hablan de paciencia, de conocimiento, de crear con intención y de compartir lo que sabemos con quienes vienen después.

Con el tiempo entendimos que muchas de las cosas que hoy hacen parte de ALTA comenzaron mucho antes de ALTA: en conversaciones, aprendizajes, manos trabajando juntas y personas que nos enseñaron a mirar la creación de otra manera.

Quizás amar también sea eso: dejar algo de nosotros en los demás y permitir que ellos lo lleven un poco más lejos.

Esta es nuestra manera de celebrar el amor.
El que enseña. El que crea. El que une. El que continúa.

Some stories begin long before we realize we are writing them.

For Love & Friendship, we wanted to speak about love from a different place. Not only the love we express, but the kind we teach, share, and leave behind in others.

That is why we photographed our uncle Daniel’s tools. Tools that have passed through his hands for years and represent much more than a craft: patience, knowledge, intention, and the act of passing what we know on to those who come after us.

Over time, we realized that many of the things that are now part of ALTA began long before ALTA itself in conversations, lessons, hands working together, and people who taught us to see creation differently.

Perhaps love is also this: leaving something of ourselves in others and allowing them to carry it a little further.

This is our way of celebrating love.
The kind that teaches. Creates. Connects. Continues.
