Designing in Bali means thinking beyond aesthetics.

For Villa Vivi 03, we wanted to move away from a conventional flat rendered wall and create an exterior wall with more depth, texture and character. Using custom timber panels, we achieved a board-formed finish inspired by raw concrete.

To bring this vision to life, we specified Purecote Microlime Facade System by Altarize- a breathable mineral-based finish well suited to Bali’s tropical climate. As an added benefit, it’s made with approximately 60% upcycled glass and ceramic waste while offering significantly lower embodied carbon than conventional render systems.

Thoughtful material selection is just as important as good design.

Manik Ring Cecupu at ARCH:ID wasn’t just build with a strong design concept it was giving an unforgettable experience! ✨

From the very beginning, this installation was designed to create a strong focal point and inviting people to pause, observe, and feel of The Human Within the Universe storytelling through the space. Seeing how visitors interacted, explored, and stayed… it reassured us that the experience truly resonated.

Here’s our Principal @brahasataindra sharing his perspective after witnessing the space come to life how an idea turned into a living experience, shaped by every visitor who stepped in.
