The Altar Tattoo team is taking over the Calgary Tattoo & Arts Festival 🖤🔥

We’re bringing some of our favourite tattooers to one of the biggest tattoo weekends in Canada, and we cannot wait to see what they create.

Swipe through to meet some of the Altar team artists tattooing at the show. From delicate blackwork and florals to dark realism, colour, illustrative pieces and everything in between.

And it’s not just tattoos 👀 Our artists will also have prints, flash designs, artwork and plenty more up for grabs, so there’s something for everyone - whether you’re leaving with fresh ink or just something cool to take home.

📍 Stampede Park, Calgary
📅 October 16- 18, 2026

If you’ve been thinking about getting tattooed by one of the Altar crew, reach out and get your spot booked! 🖤

Come find us at the festival, say hi, grab some art, and hang out with the crew. 🥀

Everyone welcome @nosferobtu.tattoo to the Altar team 🖤

With a love for all things dark, botanical, fantastical and a little strange, her work spans intricate blackwork, fine line details and beautifully witchy designs. From dragons and celestial pieces to sprawling botanicals and curious creatures, we’re so excited to have her creating with us at Altar.

Swipe through for a little taste of her work ✨

Some recent works in progress… and because apparently I can’t make a carousel without rewarding you for making it to the end: a squishy surprise. 🥹🖤
A little peek into what I’ve been up to lately featuring lots of linework, lots of flowers, lots of weird little details, and one very important potato at the end.

Which piece are you most excited to see finished? 🗡️🖤

Henbane from my flash 🌿🩷 because even poisonous plants deserve to be pretty.

I’m forever obsessed with making botanicals a little strange, a little whimsical, and just slightly suspicious. ✨

My books are OPEN! 🗡️ I’m currently welcoming new clients, so if you’ve been lurking and waiting for a sign to get something weird and wonderful from me… this is it. Come let me decorate you. 🖤
