A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday for the closing performance of s€x - statistics - capitalism. 💿✨

@lil_bleep.xyz transformed the space with a live coded recontextualization of the iconic ballroom scene—bringing together algorithmic beats, immersive visuals, improvisation and collective joy.

Together with the incredible @suzume.mus, whose Old Way performance honoured one of Voguing’s original styles, the evening became a celebration of queer expression, movement and community.

What a beautiful way to close this exhibition. Thank you to everyone who came to watch, dance, move and share this moment with us. 🖤 by @alterclub

 We closed the doors of @salonveneman, but the systems keep humming beneath the surface of it all.

What does it mean to be seen? And when does visibility become vulnerability? 🔍 Two artists approach these questions from different perspectives.

In this work, @jessenijmegen explores intimacy in the digital realm through consensually shared screenshots of online encounters, revealing how trust and vulnerability are constantly negotiated through our screens.

Alongside it, @luka.is.forever presents The Super-Faggot: a persona confronting the anxiety and hostility queer people often face in heteronormative public space. On view are fragments of the project, including THE KNIFE O’CLOCK HEELS, documentation of a public performance, and footage of the artist asleep. 💤 Hyper-visible and exposed. Unconscious and unaware.

Together, these works invite us to reflect on visibility, consent, and power. When does looking become care? And when does it become control? Do we find more safety online, or in public spaces? 🌐

The Closing of s@x - statistics - capitalism will take place tonight, at @salonveneman, with a live performance at 20:00 by @lil_bleep.xyz, joined by @suzume.mus.

Two artists that insist on visibility without reduction.

Within @striptopia, @koenvanderkam turns to performance as a site of continuous transformation. On stage bodies and identities are never fixed but constantly made and remade. The pictures stay close to presence itself, agency, desire and self definition unfolding in real time beyond stereotypes.

@jessenijmegen constructs a human archive of queer presence, photographing those often pushed beyond algorithms and margins. The work holds space for intimacy, softness and the many ways love can exist in friendship, chosen family and community. 💞

Together they ask what it means to be seen without being simplified.

How much power do digital platforms have over our bodies? Why is consensual s€xual expression censored, while non-consensual p0rn0graphy continues to circulate?

Within the exhibition, @striptopia discusses the systems that censor and erase queer and s€x-working bodies, while @buonan_otti’s work called We Resist by Glitching Our Asses confronts the gendered violence of non-consensual p0rn0graphy and the platforms that enable it.

Together, these works expose the infrastructures that govern it. If platforms can remove consensual expressions of art, why do they fail to stop the circulation of abuse? Who is protected? And who benefits from the rules? ⚖️

A few moments from Queering Nightlife, captured through the lens of @ninidiem. 📸

Bringing together stories, perspectives, and experiences from across Eindhoven’s queer nightlife, with contributions from @bacchanalia_party, @dynamo_ehv, @eindhoven.ballroom, and @nachtambassade.

Together, we explored questions of visibility, safety, representation, community, and the spaces we create and sustain together.

👁️ What slips through the cracks of systems designed to classify, monitor, and contain?

Unfolding through a series of spatial configurations including a performance stage, archive, crime scene, window, shopping mall, and cruising site, the exhibition invites visitors to move through shifting landscapes of surveillance, exchange, intimacy, and defiance.

Last night, we came together for Queering Nightlife, an open conversation about the realities, possibilities, and tensions of queer nightlife in Eindhoven. 🌙✨

With voices from @bacchanalia_party, @dynamo_ehv, @eindhoven.ballroom, and @nachtambassade, we explored questions of visibility, safety, representation, community, and what it means for queer spaces to exist between self-organization and institutional structures.

Rather than searching for definitive answers, the evening created space for reflection, exchange, and collective imagining. Together, we considered how nightlife is shaped, who it serves, and how we can continue building spaces of care, belonging, and joy.

One quote from @rstarberry stayed with us:
‘’We have all these experiences, and instead of looking at them with pity, we should see them as a benefit and use them to empower each other.’’

A body in control and on display. Vulnerability transformed into a weapon. 🔫

@luka.is.forever contribution presents excerpts from the 2023 graduation project ‘’STOP STARING AND HUG ME PLEASE! I AM CRAVING A CAPPUCCINO / Designing The Super-Faggot!!!!!!!! a.k.a. OPEN CALL FOR THE MASS DESTRUCTION OF CISHETEROPATRIARCHY.’’ 💥

The work explores the ‘’Super-Faggot,’’ a persona designed to confront the anxiety, paranoia, and hostility queer people often experience in heteronormative public spaces. Functioning simultaneously as a defence mechanism and a provocation, the character reflects discomfort, fear, and aggression back onto those who direct it at queer bodies.

On display are fragments of the project, including ‘’THE KNIFE O’CLOCK HEELS’’ and a video combining documentation of a public performance with footage of the artist asleep. These two states, hyper-visible and exposed, unconscious and unaware, exist in constant tension.

Join us on Sat. 11.07.2026 at 20:00 for a special performance by @lil_bleep.xyz: a recontextualization of the iconic ballroom scene and an ode to queer expression.

It’s a live coded interpretation of the musical foundation used within the Ballroom scene mixed with stunning visuals, a live performance and accompanying music. A feast of improvisation and joy, where everyone is invited to move, dance and express to these algorithmic beats.
🥋 Wilbert Vogels will be joined by @suzume.mus, an Old Way performer. Old Way is one of the three main categories of Voguing and the original style of the form, characterized by clean lines, symmetry, and geometric shapes inspired by fashion poses, Egyptian hieroglyphs, and martial arts.

Photographer and visual artist @jessenijmegen is dedicated to broadening the representation of queer individuals through lens-based media. Rooted in an exploration of intimacy, Jesse’s practice invites viewers into a world where vulnerability and softness are celebrated. ❤️  Reflecting on their own journey, Jesse felt for a long time that their queerness would prevent them from finding love. However, they have come to realize that love exists in many forms, including deep connections found in friendship, (chosen) family and community. This understanding infors their art, as they seek to create space where different types of love can flourish. 👥
