Blaming us for having the floor wet
Blind to us drowning moments before that
Creating a mask that one must wear
To pretend the real us have always had it fair

But they did not know this was merely a disguise

The other wanted nothing more than to make amends
Curse her name with every sip
Remember the taste of those addicting lips
See her reflection in her favorite beer
Drink until it’s her voice you can no longer hear
Cursed by the eyes you saw a whole future with

In the end both could only sit and drink

We learned to give it all without having them worry if our hearts are still intact

How tragic when a soul of a poet is with a heart that “always” falls in love
The idiot who just thinks a cute face with a beautiful smile is just enough
Same idiot who counts every atom in her eyes that even the gods envy
Who would gladly say goodbye to the heavens if she deemed it plenty
Sees only the pure form in everyone he meets
Same reason as why the devil calls him a freak
Acts like the sins they commit aren’t choices they made

But it appears I have lost you in all three lives and It makes me shake
Only in the 4th life being my memories where it is you I get to keep
I am not sure if this is enough for me in this world to survive
A dead man walking with nothing more to hide

I sleep so I keep you as mine cause I hate to wake up to reality
In my dreams you and I are Fire and Water in an elemental love story
Living the life that I told you, you deserved
