🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡 Today, we pause to listen, learn, remember, and reflect. We acknowledge that we live, work, and gather on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, and we honour the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples who have cared for these lands since time immemorial. Today is about remembering the children who never made it home, the Survivors, their families, and the generations who continue to carry the effects of residential schools. It is a day to recognize the truth of our shared history and to continue learning about reconciliation, respect, and healing. 🧡 Every child matters. Every single one of them. 🧡 We encourage everyone to take a moment today to listen, learn, reflect, and have meaningful conversations about what Truth and Reconciliation means and how we can contribute to a more respectful future. And yes — we are OPEN today. ❤️ We have fresh brats and fresh buns ready to go! Come by, grab your favourites, and stock up for the weekend. 🌭🥖 Fresh. Local. Homemade. Family. See you in store. 🧡 #TruthAndReconciliation #NationalDayForTruthAndReconciliation #EveryChildMatters #OrangeShirtDay by @altmaerkerdeli

❤️🇨🇦 COMMUNITY. FAMILY. FRIENDSHIP. HOPE. There’s no better way to come together as a community than to walk, run, and roll together! Bring your family, friends, coworkers, and even make some new friends along the way. Terry Fox was just 18 when he was diagnosed with bone cancer and had his right leg amputated. In 1980, he began his Marathon of Hope, running an incredible 5,373 km across Canada to raise money for cancer research. His determination inspired an entire nation—and his dream continues today. ❤️ We’re incredibly thankful for what Terry started and proud to help carry his dream forward. So grab your favourite running outfit (yes, even the one you bought for running but have never actually worn 😂), lace up your favourite runners, and join us for the 5 KM or 10 KM! 📅 September 20, 2026 📍 Sungod Arena 🏃 5 KM • 10 KM • Walk • Run • Roll Register beforehand or when you arrive—but most importantly, DON’T MISS OUT! Let’s come together, make a difference, and keep Terry’s dream alive. ❤️🇨🇦 #TerryFoxRun #TerryFox #Community #GiveForCancerResearch #MarathonOfHope by @altmaerkerdeli

What a day for the BMW community. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2nd Annual BMW Show N’ Shine, and especially to everyone who brought out their BMW cars and motorcycles to display, share their stories, and make this event what it was. Seeing so many different generations, styles, builds, and passionate BMW enthusiasts together is exactly why we created this event. A special thank you to our partners, BMW Car Club British Columbia and Bee Cee Beemers Motorcycle Club, for helping us bring the car and motorcycle communities together. Thank you to Altmaerker German Sausage House & Deli for keeping everyone well fed, and to Forgotton Toys for joining us with an incredible selection of collectible toy cars. And congratulations to our People’s Choice winners for Best BMW Car and Best BMW Motorcycle! 🏆 Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out, voted, connected with fellow enthusiasts, and spent the day with us.
