🖤✨

In the middle of silence,
we still chose to create. 💚

This year, when we arrived at Hai in den Mai Festival, the festival was suddenly cancelled.

After 25 years of history, months of preparation,
love, energy, building, dreaming and hard work…
everything stopped.

There were tears, pain, shock, uncertainty.
An empty festival ground where thousands of people were supposed to gather, dance, reconnect and celebrate together.

But even in that emptiness, something powerful remained:

the people.
Artists, builders, technicians, friends, crews, volunteers
everyone stayed connected through mutual support, creativity and humanity.

We couldn’t leave without bringing light to the place that means so much to so many of us.

So despite the silence, we turned on the projectors, the lights, the visuals and the mapping.

We created not for a crowd, but for the spirit of Waldfrieden itself.

These moments became deeply emotional, but also unforgettable.

A reminder that art is not only performance
it is connection, resilience and love.

Today we share with you some images of the mapping, lights and visual work we created there, surrounded by this incredible decoration made by
@alu_visuals
@nycp_stagevisual
@anachron_circle
@laser_dimension
@provisuell.de
@psithurism.deco

We want to send all our love and support to the entire Waldfrieden family, to every artist, worker, freelancer, technician and soul affected by this situation.

If you can, please support the donation campaign and help keep this beautiful place and community alive.
Because spaces like this matter.

The donation link is on their page.
@haiindenmai @waldfrieden_official

Because independent culture matters.
Because gathering in respect, freedom, nature and human connection matters.

We will continue creating.
We will continue believing.

And we hope to meet again under the lights very soon. ✨

Women are an essential part of our community both in front and behind the scenes! 🫶

Cheers to the DJs curating the vibes, the deco and support team helping build the experience, the VJ who’s creativity displays our essence, the glitter crew bringing sprinkle to the night, the teams working at the door or the bar crew and our lady Lowfriends who bring smiles, dance moves and good times to the dancefloor!

We are proud to have a community that welcomes and respects everyone 🫶🌷.

We can’t wait to dance with you all next Saturday 14 March. Come dance and enjoy early, don’t miss our lady of the month: Mia! @mia.lafontaine.dj

Remember you’re not alone, we are a community. Does not matter who you are, if you feel unsafe during one of our events, make sure you approach the big friendly giants in our team or the small Colombian - we will protect you. 🌷🙏

Thanks to all our Ladies, thanks to all our beautiful humans! Your presence makes Lowfriends a great place to dance. 😘
See you at @onderhans 🪩

🇩🇪 @waldfrieden_official 2025 – Main Stage ✨
What an incredible journey this was!

📩 Just a few days before the festival, @ineffable_experience reached out and said, “It’s last minute, but do you want to give it a try?” – and within hours he had sent me all the stage data and details I needed.
Your trust and speed made everything possible, brother 🙏🔥

🙌 Huge thanks to @alu_visuals for your amazing on-site support and for sharing the stage with me this time – such a pleasure to create side-by-side!

🎯 Big love to everyone behind the scenes who supported us – from stage crew to technical teams, you kept everything running smooth and full of energy.

💖 Truly grateful for the connections, the inspiration, and the chance to bring visuals to such an amazing environment.
See you all at the next adventure!
