A year ago, none of us even knew Archer could sing or dance. With his raw hidden talent he competed in a global survival show and received top 10 global votes from 38 regions. Although he was eliminated before the finals, he was gifted a glimpse of his destiny.

Now, after only a handful of lessons, he’s singing one of my favorite Michael Jackson songs, “Human Nature”—a song he hadn’t even heard until just a few months ago.

There’s something fitting about that.

Sometimes you don’t know what’s inside you until life gives you the chance to discover it. The curiosity. The instinct. The pull toward something you can’t quite explain.

Maybe that’s just human nature.

What started unexpectedly a year ago has become something he genuinely loves—and his dream of getting back on stage is starting to feel very real.

Two years. Countless obstacles. One incredible milestone.

What started as an RCFE ultimately evolved into something much bigger—a 6-bed Congregate Living Health Facility (CLHF) designed to care for individuals with complex medical needs in a residential setting.

The journey wasn’t easy. We pivoted as the healthcare landscape changed, navigated an entirely new licensing process, and welcomed multiple visits from the California Department of Public Health along the way.

Today was our final licensing survey.

And...

We passed. 🎉

I’m incredibly grateful for our amazing team, our consultants, our contractors, and everyone who believed in this vision. This milestone represents years of hard work, resilience, and faith.

We’re one step closer to opening our doors and serving families who need this level of care.

On to the next chapter.
