Today felt special. ✨

My first day back in my in-home skin studio for Facials by Alvin.

For a while, I’ve been meeting my clients where they are—providing concierge esthetic services in their homes and corporate spaces. And while I’ve loved that experience, there was something so beautiful about returning to my own room… my little vortex of peace, restoration and care.

Today’s appointment was a birthday gift from a daughter to her mom. I wanted her Hudson Glow Facial to feel a little more memorable, so I picked up a luxe robe, stopped by the market for fresh flowers—and made her a little arrangement myself. ☺️💐

Nothing overly complicated. Just thoughtful details, chosen with intention.

And it all paid off.
She left feeling cared for, seen, celebrated, restored—and glowing.

This is what I love most about what I do. It’s never just about the facial. It’s about how you feel while you’re here, and hopefully, how you carry that feeling with you when you leave.

Back in my room. Back in my rhythm.

I’m leaving Upstate feeling restored, inspired and deeply grateful for the people I met, the stories we shared, this is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when we intentionally create safe spaces for one another!

Sometimes the best skincare moments aren’t planned. 🌿

Somewhere upstate, surrounded by all this green, I decided to turn the camera on and show you how I actually use the Hudson One Eleven Clarifying Cleanser.

This summer, I touched many faces.

But more than that, I shared space with beautiful people.
From New Orleans to New York,
there were conversations, quiet moments, laughter,
restoration—and a little more glow.

Every face came with its own story.
Every appointment, its own energy.
And every time you trusted me with your skin,
I was reminded of how sacred this work feels to me.

I’m thankful for every person who made time for a Facial by Alvin this summer.
