For the new faces here 👋🏿

I’m Alv, founder of SHYNE.

I started SHYNE back in 2018 while I was at university, after struggling to find grooming products for my textured hair.

What started with around £100 as a side hustle selling silky durags (the OG’s will remember ShyneDurags) has gradually turned into something much bigger than I ever expected.

It took us five years to formulate, test and launch our first styling product. Now, two years after launching it, we’ve picked up a few awards along the way, and it’s insane to believe how much we’ve grown. From a single SKU to a full haircare range on the way.

And we’re still only getting started.
