This past weekend was full of festivities, but this right here…Y’ALL REALLY GOT ME!!! 😂😂😂😭😭😭

I’m still laughing and trying to figure out HOW IN THE WORLD I DIDN’T SEE THIS COMING!!! 👀😂

To my family and friends who pulled off this AMAZING surprise for my 50th birthday… I LOVE Y’ALL SO MUCH! ❤️🥹

Listen… the way y’all had me walking around clueless while everybody was in on the secret?! 😂 The lies! The sneaking around! The fake conversations! The “I don’t know what you’re talking about” faces! 😂😂😂 NICE JOB!!!

But seriously, my heart is FULL. ❤️ Turning 50 is a BIG deal, and to celebrate this milestone surrounded by so many people who love me, support me, laugh with me, and have been part of my journey means more than I can put into words.

My circle may be small, but BABY… THE LOVE IS BIG!!! 🥹❤️

I’ve experienced so many highs, lows, lessons, blessings, growth, heartbreaks, laughter, and unforgettable memories over these 50 years. And standing there seeing all of you who took the time to celebrate ME reminded me just how blessed I truly am.

And for the record….y’all understood the assignment!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😂

I thought I was just turning 50… turns out I was stepping into a whole NEW CHAPTER with a reminder that I am deeply loved. ❤️

So THANK YOU. Thank you for the planning, the phone calls, the secrets, the sneaking, the excuses, the time, and every little detail that went into making this night unforgettable.

I will NEVER forget this.

50 is already looking REAL GOOD on me! 😌💅🏽😂

God, I thank You for allowing me to see 50 and for blessing me with family and friends who know how to LOVE LOUD and CELEBRATE HARD. 🙏🏽❤️

Y’all… Kesha really got me! 😂❤️

My best friend of almost 30 years had me believing she was in Florida and wasn’t going to make my annual cookout. I had accepted it… then out of nowhere, she walked through the door! I was completely shocked and screaming with joy! She said you know I wouldn’t miss this 😊.

If you see me, you’ll probably see her. We’ve truly been two peas in a pod for almost three decades. We’ve been through the highs, the lows, the tears, the laughter, and everything in between. No matter what life has thrown our way, we’ve always had each other’s back.

Kesha, thank you for making this year’s cookout even more special. Your surprise meant more than you’ll ever know. Thank you for being my ride-or-die, my sister by choice, and one of God’s greatest blessings in my life.

Thirty years of friendship is rare, and I don’t take it for granted. Here’s to many more memories, laughs, and showing up for each other—just like we always have. I love you, Sis ❤️🥰

She’s caring. She’s resilient. She’s loving—and when she loves, she loves hard.
