Where do I even begin…
I just want to thank God for opening all of these doors for me, all of my praises go to Him!! I never thought I’d be in positions where I get to be a voice, a leader, a game changer for so many students but here I am.
This year’s State Convention was filled with so many emotions for me. As this is my LAST State Convention, I was able to attend with some AMAZING GREAT people! With confusion, uncertainty, and making some very hard decisions we were able to make it through this weekend together as a community! TJCSGA is more than just an organization, it’s a family; a family of leaders, entrepreneurs, thinkers, teachers, and future GAME CHANGERS. We came together to make this weekend successful, to learn, to grow, to build, and to connect.
My hope for everyone was to leave feeling like a game changer because that’s what we’re doing, we’re changing the game for future students!

Thank you to Region III for choosing Kilgore College as Secretary! We will make sure that we fulfill this position with hard work, dedication, and commitment. @tjcsga.region3

Thank you to my wonderful delegation and advisors for believing in me! These past 2 years as President have been hard, stressful, fun, challenging, and so much more! I have learned A-LOT from so many of my peers, including the amazing people I meet at State and Regional meetings. I’m forever grateful and thankful for this amazing group, you guys are true game changers!! @kcstudent_government

Thank you to everyone that made this State Convention possible, your hard work does not go unnoticed! We appreciate all that you do! @tjcsga

As I close out my duties as President of Kilgore College SGA, I want everyone to remember to be yourself, you will make it soooooo far in life and in your career by just being YOU. Push yourself, try something new, step outside the box, do something out of the ordinary, because you never know where it’s going to lead you. Believe in yourself, follow your heart, and never forget your ending goal!

- Koryonna Brown, Kilgore College SGA President
