not @adamyokum. on my own journey, and adam’s music is the soundtrack. right here, right now — always.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

from my dad’s classic rock on the drive to and from little league, to spending my first paycheck on an ipod, to working at a record store, to interviewing bands for a music publication, music has been my life for as long as i can remember.
i discovered adam’s music as i began my journey to self improvement a few years ago. i stumbled upon gretzky and there’s been no looking back since.
as i continue to grow as a person, i find myself connecting to the music with each new release — whether it’s the vibe or the lyrics that hit close to home.
so this is my space to share. join this journey with me. by @alwaysyokum

been quiet for a bit. a few different work projects have had me pulled in a lot of directions. highs and lows, the way life goes. but grateful for it — these moments i get to work through, not around. been writing some of it down. I hope you water your roots. by @alwaysyokum

i love the different vibes i get from each release. with closure, i think about the difference between remembering something, and living in the past. how some things are meant to stay in the rear view. @adamyokum #nowplaying #independentartist #adamyokum by @alwaysyokum

we’re all on our own paths, moving at our own pace. you don’t have to be finished to be right where you’re meant to be. life is a ongoing process. “working on me” - @adamyokum #nowplaying #workingonme #independentartist #music by @alwaysyokum

new EP from @adamyokum . one song a week, six weeks.

this is such a cool way to experience the release of this collection of music. to be on the journey and to sit with each track as it is released. it’s a good time to be an AY fan! #nowplaying #independentartist #adamyokum #music by @alwaysyokum

been more intentional about my mornings lately. no scrolling, just music on its own device while I work out, read, and journal. small shift, big difference in how I feel. this year, my goal is to always be right here, right now. @adamyokum #nowplaying #independentartist #digitalminimalism #righthererightnow by @alwaysyokum

There’s some awesome stuff going on in @lodgetalks. I love what @joingrouped is doing with this concept of being directly engaged with an artist as they release new music, go on tour, build their story. It just adds another layer of connection that you don’t really get anywhere else. #nowplaying #music #independentartist by @alwaysyokum

Every week since Water Your Roots dropped I’ve had a different favorite off the album. This week it’s Crash My Party. I just love the vibe of it. What gets me about this record is that every song has its own thing going on. Different elements, different styles, a totally different reason to love each track. @adamyokum #wateryourroots #nowplaying #independentartist #music by @alwaysyokum
