Installation 2025 Objects have a way of holding onto memories, carrying traces of the emotions we associate with them. This installation portrays what a memory might look like—cushions we played with as kids felt monumental, they feel familiar yet dreamlike. While the details of our memories fade, the emotions endure, reminding us that even fleeting moments can leave an everlasting imprint on us. Lil star dude venturing into a new universe🌌 This drawing was made with the help of my two daughters. I loved seeing them add their own magical touches 💖✨️ by @alyaastaars
i found this old drawing i made back in 2016(i think). while drawing it, i remember thinking about the concept of transformation and how sometimes change is usually not a pretty process and that it's not always clear when that process is done. days, months, years? or are we in a constant state of change with no end in sight? perhaps there can be beauty in that too. by @alyaastaars

an installation i made in 2018. i loved the idea of creating my own landscapes like something out of a fantasy i had. this installation was made shortly after i gave birth. my mind was full of concepts like creation and what is considered natural or not, and what is considered normal, a forest of contradicting thoughts by @alyaastaars
