Thank you for all birthday wishes. Thank you for witnessing my growth. - 25 wow where to begin well with 24. 24 I had to really visit myself in ways that were uncomfortable but extremely rewarding. 24 working for myself as a multidisciplinary artist really started to actualize and my relationship with process, business, and my morals. 24 I started college, my business, and a big step into my career of transitioning from the spicy club. My reality expanded, my understanding of the world changed, my understanding of the gravity of approaching life changed. The type of art I realized I am meant to bring into the world changed. A lot of change that has only been for my growth. The people in my life who have been there for me as anchors, family figures, teachers, and destiny helpers are who I was surrounded by last night. People who are radically themselves, eccentric, not mainstream, and will speak their hearts and minds. No fluff. No BS. Just true beautiful humans who are not diluted by this thing right now that we are all being faced with. Illusions. 24 taught broke many illusions within and outside of myself. 24 taught me where you place your energy is where it is return in a positive or negative way. 25 has a lot in store. Important stories are to be made, business is to be grown, lessons are to be learned, and still my group of misfits will be along the ride as I am on theirs. To my spirit madre @lunar_crystalline thank you for adopting me as your own and infusing your work into me as we share it with others. You have raised me through my 20s. Much love 💙 photographer: @shuri.54 the best by @alyasuchana

“WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS?” This concept that @ant11ony and I collaborated on is honestly one of my favorites I have done in a minute. Anthony wanted to push himself to express the unique way he seeing the world. In this context he is an Alien who has found his way to earth and is puzzled by its complexity. Digitizing him felt the route to take especially with how the digital space is something we can no longer avoid and it is a matrix we are in after all. Super fun project and thank you to my team Production Assistants and Lighting: @susu_sulan @goldenrollcinema by @alyasuchana
“WAKE UP!” Written by @alyasuchana Directed by @alyasuchana and @youngcnel - - - More coming soon - Teaser by: @youngcnel and @goldenrollcinema by @alyasuchana
Some of you may know about me or are new and learning. For those who are new I’m Alya and this is some my amazing crew who has worked and a film roll captured by @goldenrollcinema This first picture is special. Of me and @youngcnel. The second half to my brain and if my brain was segmented in three parts Q @goldenrollcinema would be the other part when it comes to film projects. Christian and I met and knew we were going to work together for a long time. I feel in this photo I am seeing the past, present, and future. I see the trust between us, the trust in choices and the trust that the steps we are taking are for a goal that maybe we don’t feel see yet. Christian is technical, grounded, and focused he reminds my gemini to maintain the thread once it has been found. Focus alya Focus. Christian is not just my co director but friend and brother. I am feeling a lot of beautiful and bittersweet things with this. For one, I started my business @foursightprod officially earlier this year, taking on a short film for a larger production was risky but it has felt rewarding. Rewarding because of what is has taught me and has shown me the importance of every single person and their gifts the bring to the table. Miles who’s youthful perspective and willingness to try inspires me (not pictured) Q who can see fine details that were left Victoria able to organize and thinks in a precautionary way Sulan who brings diligence (not pictured) It’s a gift to begin building the core foundations of your dreams. To involve your family and friends who believe in you and the story. More to come with the Premier for “WAKE UP!” Shot by @goldenrollcinema on 35 mm and a combo of fujifilm and kodak ultramax by @alyasuchana
Full moon in Aries, reminding me that the ways in which I yield my energy may not be for everyone and that is fully okay. The shoes you have walked in to get to where you are going, that have shown you where you have been, are yours. The North Node in Aquarius showing me a layer of understanding the mechanisms of humanity, the patience that is required, and the way in which we are all so interconnected. The sun in Libra reminding me to give time to shifts into fall and to focus on the things that need to be sustained in order to continue to grow. If walking away from what doesn’t serve you means walking into a more aligned Version of you than that is a sacrifice I will continue to make. Photos by @chuckfordphoto by @alyasuchana

One more BTS roll out of Foursight first short film “WAKE UP!”before…the premier. Premier date is coming soon. This project was bigger and has taken longer than anticipated and called in more people than the core crew knew we were capable of holding @alyasuchana @youngcnel and @goldenrollcinema The intention behind every shot and scene taught each and every one of us that story telling is what we are meant to do. THANK YOU to everyone who has been apart of this project! THANK YOU to everyone who sat, spoke, danced, and observed with intention. THANK YOU for your time that you offered us. My goal with storytelling is to impact those and create change, I only hope to grow and I know my team not only wants to grow but continue to tell stories with intention.
