what a plot twist you were || finally did my first film roll from my minolta srt 101 with 45mm f2. the pictures came out like a dream, way better than i expected. now, i know how to load the film roll correctly aka why there’s a black strip rip. but for my first film roll, i’m proud of myself. can’t wait to do more 👏🏽

• black lives matter •

it has almost been 10 years since #blacklivesmatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murder. but let me be real with you, it has been much longer for us. it is deep rooted for many years since slavery and earlier years. their mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to create space for black imagination and innovation and centering black joy. black lives matter movement is a reminder that there’s black people who are queer, trans, disabled, undocumented, women, and all black lives along the gender spectrum. the system is built specifically for white people and citizens who are naturally born in america. every day, when we wake up in the morning, we constantly have to put our mindsets in a position where we need to fit in with everyone else. the call for black lives to matter is a rallying cry for ALL black lives striving for liberation. if you’re a white person and want to be an ally, wake the fuck up and listen. comment below because i’m trying to open up discussions and conversations. you all are welcome here, it doesn’t matter who you are

photo id: a young black man standing in front of a garage looking at the art that represents black lives, undocumented people, and BIPOC people. top bar says a system of politics and art with yellow caption in middle saying black lives matter

i present you a new series: silent. as many of you guys know that i don’t post much anymore and it’s funny how it’s not actually meant to be intentional. i struggle with mental health, just like many of you guys do too as well. i extremely have a hard time letting people come inside my mind. a picture should be able to tell you how to feel and how it represents to you. i think a lot but don’t say much. i’ve been playing around with old pictures and once again, my inspiration strikes. i genuinely hope you guys love this one. let me know what y’all think!!! i love you guys, much love 🫶🏽

first id: i am wearing black sweater, plaid pants, high top converse with black puff coat. i’m lightly playing with my hair with harsh light coming behind me. it’s covering my face with a small yellow caption saying, nothing kills you like your mind

second id: i’m in the same outfit as the first picture but with my black puff coat half way down. i am posing with my head tilted back, looking up in the sky with a small yellow caption in the middle that says, we’re strangers with some memories

third id: window seat on the airplane during sunrise hour. there’s a camera in the middle of the window with a small yellow caption saying, miles away, but i’ll still find my way home to you

fourth id: a video of the airplane wing from the window seat flying over the clouds during sunrise with a small yellow caption saying, nubivagant by @alydray
