A Brief Encounter with John Has anyone seen John? You know we had a lot of fun just now At the DJ set  We danced there all night long And know I seem upset But I can't believe it I gave him the wrong number  I even called it on his phone for him  So I'd have his But then it hadn't rung Oh he left about 10 minutes ago with his mate in a tiz Oh no  You know  Oh it really makes  You wonder  If life even wants the best for me? Cos It's tripping me up  it's tossing me around Yeah it's really testing me oh no Has anyone seen John? Have you seen him? ... Has anyone seen John? I don't remember how we met but at some point We must have said come on And then every tune they played we'd say That's amazing! This is the greatest song And is it wrong? That it sounded like a wedding band In the silence of the crowd  I know you're crazy too so you understand Oh yeah Cos he was twisting me up He was tossing me round yeah  We couldn't catch the beat oh no  Has anyone seen John? Have you seen him?...  Has anyone seen John? I don't know if you knew me much before this I'm just another one  Who stays out all night, I can never call it  But now I guess I'll just search crazy town    I'll keep my hopes up cos you know what I'm like when I'm down Has anyone seen John?  Have you seen him? But it really makes You wonder  If life even wants the best for me? Cos It's tripping me up  it's tossing me around Yeah it's really testing me oh oh Has anyone seen John?  Have you seen him?  Have you by @alys_ur_paly
