Hi, I’m Alysa! 👋🏼 Welcome to Happy Healthy Living. 🌿

I’m a wife, mom of four, and homeschool mom just trying to build a life that feels healthy, happy, and meaningful — without making life more complicated than it already is.

Around here, healthy living isn’t about perfection. It’s about the little things we can actually do in the middle of real family life:

🥗 Simple meals & better food choices
🏃🏼‍♀️ Movement & workouts
🏡 Creating a healthier home
📚 Homeschooling & family life
✝️ Faith & intentional living
❤️ Finding more JOY and LAUGHTER in the everyday

Some days are organized. Some days are definitely not. 😂
We’re learning, adjusting, and figuring it out as we go.

No perfection. Just progress.

If you’re looking for simple ideas for a healthier, happier home, I’d love to have you here. Check out my healthy living questionnaire and guide in my “links”! & ❤️Follow along & introduce yourself in the comments!
Tell me: What’s one area of healthy living you’d like to make simpler right now? 👇🏼

Balance doesn’t always look like a perfectly structured schedule or quiet mornings with a clear to-do list.

Sometimes it looks like answering emails with a baby in your arms, building a business during nap time, and embracing the beautiful chaos in between.

I’m proud of the version of balance I’ve created—one that includes raising my kids and growing something meaningful professionally. It’s not always neat or predictable, but it’s real, and it works.

To anyone else navigating both family life and big ambitions: it’s okay if your balance looks different than someone else’s. You’re still building something incredible. 🩷 Anyone else in the thick of it, but so grateful ? by @alysafurlong

Firsts somehow become even more special with each child. ❤️ Maybe it’s because I’ve learned to slow down and truly soak in these little moments, knowing just how quickly they pass.

But one of the sweetest parts is watching the big kids get just as excited as I am, cheering their little brother on like it’s the biggest milestone in the world. And honestly, it is. 🥹

These are the moments I’ll never take for granted. #happyhealthyliving #furlongfamily #mnmom by @alysafurlong

Choose carefully who you spend your time with, because the people you surround yourself with really do influence who you become. ❤️

It’s okay to have boundaries. It’s okay to outgrow certain relationships. And it’s okay to want people in your life who encourage you, lift you up, bring you peace, and genuinely want to see you do well.

Life is hard enough. Surround yourself with people who make it a little lighter. 🫶🏼

That’s the kind of sisterhood I want to be part of, and I want to help other women find it too.

Join me. Find your people. Let’s grow together. 🤍. #happyhealthyliving #sisterhood # by @alysafurlong

Happy birthday to our sweet baby boy! 💚 #happyhealthyliving by @alysafurlong

12 months down with this red headed chunker 😍
Big smiles, 3 teeth, almost walking.

Just like with any of our kids, he’s our best addition yet 🙏🏽

To the moms holding the whole operation together with prayer, caffeine, and whatever energy we have left…

The laundry is multiplying. Someone is always hungry. You walked into a room and forgot why. And somehow, everyone is still alive and the day keeps moving! (Faster than I’d like, if I may add!)

We’re not always organized. We’re not always checking off our whole to-do list. But we’re showing up, loving our people, and doing the best we can. Relying on God’s peace and JOY!

Honestly? That’s worth celebrating. 🙌🏼

Send this to a mom who deserves a little laugh today. ❤️

One day, you’re holding your last newborn… and you don’t even know it. 🥹🤍 ( we are not done having kids yet. Just the thought of being done send me to tears)

Motherhood is beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, and somehow still makes you want to do it all over again.

These little moments are a reminder to slow down, soak it in, and be present for the life we’re building right now. Because one day, we’ll miss the little hands, the baby snuggles, and even the chaos. 🫶🏻

If you’re a mom trying to build a happy, healthy home while making the most of these fleeting years, you’re in the right place. 🤍

Follow along for real-life motherhood, faith, family, healthy living, and intentional homemaking. 🌿

Putting up our tree in a couple weeks … no judgements 😅😅 by @alysafurlong

A little reminder for my sisters. 🤍

Choose someone who will be your best friend. Someone you can laugh with, be silly with, navigate the hard seasons with, and celebrate the good ones with.

Choose someone whose values align with yours. Someone you can raise your children with, work toward your goals with, and build a legacy with.

But don’t stop there.

Once you’re married, don’t get so caught up in raising your children and building your life that you forget to appreciate the person you’re building it with.

One day, the kids will grow up. They’ll move out and start lives of their own. And it’ll be the two of you again.

Keep dating each other. Keep laughing together. Keep making memories. Keep choosing each other.

Don’t just build a beautiful family. Build a marriage that will still be beautiful when the house is quiet. ❤️

Send this to a sister you love. 🤍
