I am beyond excited to once again participate in the ever so talented Mab Graves' Drawlloween this year.

I truly look forward to seeing all of the magical creations the familiar (and perhaps even new) members of Mab's Drawlloween Club bring. I am grateful to this club and the incredible friendships I have formed over the years because of it! Thank you @mabgraves here is to another year! 💕

Now, let us bring on the spookfest!

For this year's intro, I am including an eclectic menagerie of ghosts from Drawlloweens past.

🦇Happy Drawlloween🦇

As Drawlloween is merely one sleep away, I am reminiscing on Drawlloweens past. This one is among my favorites. It seems hard to believe I created this one 5 years ago!

We had a wonderful time at Art Heist 2026 this evening.
There was quite an incredible turnout tonight. I was floored by the truly amazing art up for grabs!
I loved seeing so many familiar faces and enjoyed the spirited conversations.

A quick look into one elements from the Artist's Garden. An older tube of Winsor & Newton Galeria paint. When I say older, I mean it. This tube that served as my inspiration was purchased in the mid 1990s! It still has paint inside that I actually still use. Some also went into this Artist's Garden painting.

While cleaning and organizing my art studio recently, I realized I was running low on space. As a multidisciplinary artist, I work with many mediums and have acquired perhaps what some may see as too many supplies. {No such thing 😉}
It suddenly hit me, as I work with so many mediums such as wood crafts, upcycling, sculpting, and painting, why not combine them?
This unique acrylic painting is on an 11x10 wooden cradled panel featuring an 11" wooden paint palette, upcycled paint brush, and hand sculpted paint tube painted to create a 3D depth of the painting itself.
I enjoyed the distinctive challenges this piece brought and learned many new techniques I intend on using in future pieces.

I had a blast participating in the @trekell_art_supplies Pet Portrait Competition this year and painting my sweet handsome dragon, Tanin! Had I known we would suddenly be welcoming two beautiful new kitties into our family, I would have purchased more panels! Alas, I shall save that for next year's Trekell Pet Portrait Competition.
I have mentioned this before, and those who know me best know that I highly recommend Trekell. When it comes to brushes, panels, and brush maintenance, Trekell is the top quality!

A little peek into my Friday studio session. Approximately how many paintings are too many to be working on simultaneously? I am cramming as much in as I can before my eye procedures.

I definitely need to get back to doing portrait studies, it has been a minute. Just came across this older study I did in '19 of Halsey.
