I’m speechless and quite frankly feel like I was ran over by a truck today

But yesterday was undeniably one of the best experience of my life 🙈

I’m overwhelmed by the level of love I received and felt from amazing friends and absolute strangers who spent their Sunday cheering people up ✨

42km made easier by the best support system thinkable, my cheeks hurt as much as my legs from all the smiling👯‍♀️💗

🌊 And with this we conclude our shenanigans of fundraising for @surfrider. I am proud to say that we fulfilled the goal of raising as many € as km ran since January 1st, summing up to 500€ raised

Thank you to all of those who contributed big and small to make this silly dream come true

💗✨

Forever grateful to call this city my home. It would truly deserve to be called the city of love 🇩🇰

A kook is a bad surfer & I’m one of them 🏄🏽‍♀️

Hey there, I’m Alysée 🌬️
Growing up sailing and hiking in the French Alps, I actually left outdoor sports behind for a while in my teens. A few years ago, I started running along the Danish coastline, and it wasn’t long until I got back into the water. 🐚
Today, surfing and kiting are my ultimate “reset button.” I love how changing the ocean is—one day fierce and unforgiving, the next soft and gentle like a hug. 🏄‍♀️

As any kook knows, our coastlines and oceans are under pressure from plastic, chemical pollution, and biodiversity loss. This jeopardizes both nature and our ability to play with it—and you always want to protect what you love!
Since running was the spark that started it all, it feels right to use my first-ever Marathon (@cphmarathon )to give back to the environment that keeps me sane.

The Mission:
On May 10th, I’ll be running 42.2km around Copenhagen for @surfridereurope . That is quite a paddle out. 🇩🇰

I’m such a girl who ran a marathon and won’t shut up about it anymore.

There’s something about endurance, about learning to take things as they come, about enjoying effort, discipline. That’s for sure.
For me there’s also something about inviting playfulness into the discipline, into the effort and committing to the event with joy.
There’s something about taking your body seriously enough to treat it with love. To push it and care for it equally. To surrender to progress and compare that progress internally rather than externally.
And letting ourselves get overwhelmed by how friends show up for such events and give so much of themselves to keep that little flame going.

The first question I received was “what was your time?” as if that was supposed to be a metric of how good or impressive the experience was.

I did not break any world record, I did not sub-4, sub-3 sub-whatever. But I talked, smiled, ran all the way, maintained my energy levels and mood high all the way and happy cried. And I left with the feeling of wanting more of it.

I ran a slow marathon and I am deeply content 😌

POV you’re realizing that the marathon you’ve told alll your friends, family and colleagues about and started a fundraiser for is this week 🤯 @cphmarathon

We’ve raised 460€ by now! I’m so grateful this side quest mobilised some people, inspired others and that friends will be there on Sunday to check that I’m still alive past km 30 💗

Happy Friday kooks🌊

🎉🥳We made it to 283€ yesterday for the @surfridereurope fundraiser 🥹

16 days left to make the 500 mark, let’s go 🏃🏽‍♀️🏄🏽‍♀️

Pinch me, you guys are so cool! 💗

I’ve been digging my camera roll and it turns out that most of my fails in the water didn’t get captured (some will call it a conspiracy) .. so I’ll give you one that still makes me laugh and if one of you or my dad digs something juicy, I’ll be back with more 🫡
