dear sadie grace,
hi baby it’s mama. i hope you’re in the arms of Jesus and you’ve got your duck, your fish, and your ball up there. i really thought you were indestructible. i got you at 20 years old in the darkest time of my life. you saved me. i never knew i could have so much love in my heart for someone that couldn’t even talk back. you’re my whole world. the sweetest dog i ever knew. you never even hurt a fly. there wasn’t a single person who didn’t fall in love with you the moment they met you. i wish you were right here laying on my legs or sitting on my head like you did when you were just a wee babe. i am so glad you finally learned how to swim. there are so many things i wish we got to do together, but im so so grateful for the time we had together. yesterday was the hardest thing i ever had to do, but watching you be in pain hurt even more. you will ALWAYS ALWAYS be my first baby. my first true love. sadie i don’t think i could’ve made it through the last 4 years without you. Jesus, thank you for choosing me to be her momma. they were the best years of my life. by @alysiajadee
