4 years later and i can finally say… i did it.

ever since i was a little girl, i knew healthcare was my calling. i have spent countless hours studying, practicing, and pushing myself to keep going. even on the days when i questioned my purpose and wondered if this was still the path for me, God always reminded me why i was here. He taught me to trust Him and the plan He has in store for me. i trusted Him, and He led me here and i couldn’t be more grateful and blessed, because not everyone gets the opportunity to say they made it through not only college, but nursing school.

4 years ago, i had to make the difficult decision to move away from home. if you know me personally, you know how close i am to my family, so leaving them behind was one of the hardest things i have ever had to do. throughout these years, i missed so many moments because of studying and school but my family always understood. they knew the goal i was chasing, and they never stopped supporting me. so thank you… you are my reason why. you are the reason i kept going, and the reason i wanted to prove that anything is possible when you put your heart and mind into it and put your trust in God. and if something is truly meant for you, God will always show you that it is and He will pave the way for you.

tucson, my home away from home, you have given me so much over these past 4 years. you have brought me friendships that will last a lifetime, memories that i will never forget, and experiences that have shaped me into the person i am today and for that, i will carry this chapter of my life with me forever.

and lastly, this accomplishment is not just mine, but it belongs to my parents as well. everything i am today is because of them. and everything i have achieved is a reflection of their love, sacrifices, and their support that they have given me throughout my journey in life. i love you both and thank you.

and above all, i thank God for guiding me, strengthening me, and never letting me lose sight of my purpose.
