“Pressure is a Privilege.” - Billie Jean King

As the US Open begins, this quote feels especially meaningful.

I’ve played tennis for more than 20 years and worked for more than 40.

Both have taught me that pressure often shows up when the opportunity is greatest.

In my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping brands work with Walmart and Sam’s Club. The expectations are high and the work is demanding, but countless suppliers would love the opportunity to present their products and earn a place on those shelves.

That is what I want to remember when the pressure builds:

I don’t have to do this. I GET to do this.

This notebook and towel is from my friend Abbi Nori Nelson and it’s the perfect reminder that pressure means we are doing something that matters.

Wishing my Beautiful DIL a wonderful birthday. I love her as if she’s my daughter. She is kind, thoughtful, hardworking, smart and most of all has a Heart of Gold.

27 years ago, this young man made his debut. Adam was just born Cool. I always told him he’d make a great ER Dr because of his calmness and ability to be unflappable. Watching him grow and develop and became a Girl Dad is so fun to watch. I believe he’s getting a glimpse of the amount of love a parent has for their children.
He’s so special. by @alysiatreece

Happy Birthday Anna Treece! When I try to describe you to people, I fall short.
If I would’ve created a list of things I’d hoped for in a DIL, you’ve checked them all and doubled it.
Sounds so cliche….. you are Even More Beautiful on the inside, which is saying something bc you are Gorgeous!!
I’m so glad God made you and blesssed our family with you.
I hope you feel loved today and always. by @alysiatreece

These amazing ladies just finished our living room.
When I say they made this process SO easy and stress free, I really mean it.
Give them your budget, they’ll use your own things or purchase new. Very Affordable.
I don’t know how they do it but they’re The Dynamic Duo! by @alysiatreece

Today this young man turns 26.
I prayed he would hold out until after Christmas to make his debut… he did and boy has he made an impact on me ever since. Adam was just ‘Born Cool’. I would always tell him he’d make a great ER Dr. bc he is unflappable under pressure. He is kind, intentional, and you never have to guess where he stands. He’s courageous and faces tough situations head on.
I’m thankful God chose me to be his mom.
Happy Birthday Adam Nick! I hope this is the Best Year Yet.
I love you. by @alysiatreece
