Iā€™ve worked at Areaware for the past 6.5 years as their Art Director and Copy Lead. Because the brand aesthetic is so different from my own, I havenā€™t posted my work here (it doesnā€™t visually fit in my grid!). Areaware is bright and bold and graphicā€”not me at allā€”but itā€™s taught me how to stretch myself and apply my skills and sensibilities to a completely different creative perspective. Iā€™ve realized I should be sharing what I do from day to dayā€”Iā€™m proud of the work Iā€™ve done for them (the brand and product copy especially)ā€”so, hereā€™s my first attempt at that. First up: My favorite, a jewelry box designed by @sarah___burns. I was particularly excited about this project; I am a big fan of Sarahā€™s work, her brand @old_jewelry, and her design POV. I wrote the product copy (easy when you love the product itself) and art directed the shoots which gave me the opportunity to play with some of her jewelry pieces. So special! 1, 2 - Jewely at home 3 - Product copy 4 - Product silo shot by @frankwithersstudio 5, 6, 7 - Lifestyles shot by @emmafishman. The last photo is from our holiday campaign last year, featuring a Christmas card from my late Gramma. I love sneaking in personal touches whenever I can get away with it. šŸ’› by @alysonsharon

@collectiblefair standouts šŸ©µ Thereā€™s something about @rrestenergyyā€™s Pizza Stool. It must be the combination of my favorite food & the ruffled cushion evocative of my late Gramma Elaine. Really stole my heart. Plus the (real) fruit as feet? Come on. šŸ„² by @alysonsharon
