I find myself writing letters to people I’ve never met.

To the customer who will one day walk through our doors. To the regulars who will integrate lev into their routine. To the person whose drink is made wrong. To the employees who will dream with me. To the neighbors in need. To literally everyone.

I think of you often.

There is something so sacred about the beginning of a dream. The quiet and messy space where passion gets to imagine all the places it might one day reach. Where love for every customer directs every decision.
Before the conversations, before the building is purchased and lights are turned on, before the laughter and tears, there’s the hope.

Hope that when you encounter LEV, you receive something more than a service or an experience. I hope you receive nourishment for whatever part of you is feeling empty.

And in receiving, I hope your cup overflows.

Because love starts long before a door ever opens. It begins in the intention, grows through service, and lives on in every person it touches. When we receive, it moves us. It guides our feet to take steps out, directs your eyes to what needs to be seen. When you see it, you go and it then finds new hands, new hearts, new places to grow.

It is a chain reaction.

So wherever you are, and whoever you are, know that there is already a place being prepared with you in mind.

We haven’t met yet, but this work is, in many ways, already for you.

Because love, when shared, feeds everything.

My cup is full ❤️

Being given the opportunity to host a latte art competition with ones who dedicate themselves to service was so bittersweet. The U-Crew is full of atmosphere changers who are talented, strong, dedicated, and creative. Every shift I work (no matter who I’m with), I leave feeling inspired. Truly proud of this team!

Thankful to be working @unioncoffeenc before venturing off and starting @lev_cafeandfoodpantry my hope is to fill you and empower you to fill others. It is a privilege to be surrounded by your presence. I love having the opportunity to serve you, however I am looking forward to cultivating a space where I can pour back into you the way you have poured into me 🫶☕️ taken in Greensboro, North Carolina by @alyssa_millikan
