The well of longing
Can only be satiated

Sometimes
Someone will see your face
And see all the beauty
That you try to hide
With colours
The tanning, the blushing
The darkening
Wilting petals
Acid rain
Never will I become again
Take it from me
Give it back
Good luck
Ever putting it back. by @alyssaavalon

Do not be stalled
By the stillness.
Although we sleep,
We do not forget
To be still
Or to move.
Both are the right option.
Stand possum your whole life
Get a case of the withers
The shivers
Wrestling my quivers
Or move. by @alyssaavalon

A sapling growing out of the ground
From the maple tree
It is growing through your deck
Do you let the sapling grow?
Even though it will rip apart your deck?
Or do you let it live
Because it is 'living'?
I ask the same question
With the zygote fetus
That I do not want
Growing inside
And through me
Do I allow the full expression
Of this being
To tear me apart? by @alyssaavalon

Everyday when you're walking down the street
And everybody that you meet
Has an original point of view

And I say HEY! (HEY!)
What a wonderful kind of day.
If you can learn to work and play
And get along with each other

You got to listen to your heart
Listen to the beat
Listen to the rhythm
The rhythm of the street
Open up your eyes
Open up your ears
Get together and make things better
By working together!

It's a simple message and it comes from the heart
Believe in this (And in yourself)
For that's the place to start (to start)

And I say HEY! (HEY!)
What a wonderful kind of day
If we can learn to work and play
And get along with each other.
Hey what a wonderful kind of day hey!
