🐊 SNACKPACK Presents: Anxiety 🐊

Anxiety has a way of creating monsters within us as it feeds our fears until they feel impossible to escape. “Anxiety”, SNACKPACK’s project originally performed at Complex & Open Floor 2025, follows the evolution of that battle: from being overwhelmed by those inner voices to reclaiming control. Through movement, we explore how anxiety doesn’t have to define us, it can become the very force that shapes our resilience and power.

Idle Worship is dedicated to the complicated experience of leadership, idolization, and humanity within creative spaces, and the pressure of being placed on a pedestal while still navigating personal flaws, fears, and imperfections. It’s a reminder that artists and leaders are not superheroes, just people trying to create and grow alongside everyone else. This piece is a cry for grace, and the understanding that no single person is meant to carry the weight of being someone else’s savior.

Thank you @jaroncwong and @iamsaliimm for curating such an intentional space where vulnerability is constantly celebrated and encouraged. Showing up for me is somehow always my last priority, so I’m grateful that this program held me accountable, made me not only face, but find a home, in my creative process, and emphasized creating and feeling for ME. It takes so much to pour into your students as heavy as you both did, so i hope you both know I’ve learned and grown so much from both of you, this space, and all the silly beautiful humans in this cohort.

And of course, infinite amount of love for the pals who showed up for me. My first solo performance and it held so much weight, so much doubt, so much pain, but your presence made me feel free and your cheers made me sososos happy :)

I love you @natesouryasack 🥰 Thank you for always being the person behind closed doors who always talks me through my 1,000 mph thoughts, for wiping my sad tears and sharing my happy tears. For always encouraging me to take more chances on me. My biggest supporter, and my biggest inspiration.

So much joy to be had in this class! ✨ When @raezelle told me their birthday fell on my slot day I wanted to dedicate the class and piece to a song that felt special to them 🥰🥰 Thank you rache for always showing up for oos, my class, and yourself, in such a beautiful way that reminds me to always hold space for whimsy and joy. March 2025 🪡 Year+ old dumps who’s keeping track stop paying attention to me!! Tried lots of new matchas, ate lots of yummy food, spent a lotta money I didn’t have hehe, unintentionally ran 10 miles for our walk-a-thon, home cafes home cafes, retreat, brppjolyth time, read SEVERANCE, and took a sewing bootcamp in SF 🧵 by @alyssamcorpuz

“Pacer” directed by Alyssa Corpuz @alyssamcorpuz is premiering at Taste Test 2026 🎥✨

“Pacer” highlights womn as multi‑faceted, multi‑dimensional human beings. We are allowed to be aggressive and soft, independent yet desiring care, feminine and masculine, especially all at once. These contrasts are not contradictions, nor are they signs of being “too much.

Each section of “Pacer” embodies a different dimension of womanhood, inviting dancers to fully channel a specific intention while honoring the fluidity between them. The goal is relatability and empowerment while creating space for dancers and viewers to recognize themselves within these shifts and to feel affirmed in their complexity.”

Happy birthday honey,

The past few years of us
have been measured in aisles
for hours on end,
browsing, dreaming,
collecting
as if time were a soft thing
we could set down between shelves.

To get lost with you
in the pages of other worlds
was always time just for us.
No reality. Just floating
together
Seasons shifting quietly
beyond us.

I’ve watched your wonder
your searching eyes
skim each spine,
each title a hurdle until you find
All that you’ve been longing for.

And somewhere between
dust and dusting,
between chapters we didn’t finish
and the ones that undid us,
I understood

Across all the bookstores
All the storybooks
Across all the towns,
my favorite story
is ours.

Me, the antagonist.
Then you.
At times, both
lost in others,
lost in ourselves
lost ourselves
footnotes in seasons
we don’t yet understand.

We are a book
I never want to put down.
Never want to sell.
Only to hold
creased, marked, alive
while we pass through
every other story
time places in our hands.
