I think my true origins in photography stem from my love of movement. So light painting is a natural progression to explore.

It’s all about experimenting with time and movement. There nothing else like it!

“Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” — Martha Graham

“Sometimes I’m less interested in photographing people…

…and more interested in photographing energy.

Motion.
Connection.
Tension.
Memory.

I wanted this to feel like a moment halfway between dance and hallucination.

No AI.
No compositing.
Just movement, light, timing, and a slow shutter.

What does this image feel like to you?
