Some news: I started a podcast! It’s called @thenewgarde and it’s about the future of the fashion and beauty industries. As much as I love seeing ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ discourse resurface constantly, it’s time for a new pop-cultural reference point for what it’s like to work in (and break into) the biz today. That’s where I come in! You can listen weekly wherever you get your podcasts, and subscribe to the TNG Substack at the link in bio. The first two episodes are live now, featuring @brynnwallner and @eiffeltyler.

Very special thanks to @davydenduyver for the identity and design, and to @dev.baby for the photos! Fun fact: I bought the blueberry iBook with my Bat Mitzvah money in the year 2000. :) by @alyssavingan

I had the pleasure of getting to know @toospoiled for @ssense, who had such thoughtful things to say about starting a career in a famously cutthroat industry under some very unique circumstances. Unreal photos by @phiawilson! Thank you @chrisgayomali for being the GOAT editor and @gabriellak_j for your kind words. Live on SSENSE dot com now! by @alyssavingan

Wrote my first for @thecut and it’s about two of my favorite things: @bravotv and divorce! I hope you’ll give it a read, if not only because @bravoandy agrees with me. 🙂‍↕️ by @alyssavingan
