Producing a show in NYC ain’t for the weak!! But for my first producer credit, I had an incredible cast to work with. When We See Us is a blackity, black celebration, for us black performers and by us black performers. Additionally, 100% of the ticket sales went to Sonya Massey’s GoFundMe for her family(we raised over $400!!). I hope I get to make more magic with these beautiful souls soon. Be on the lookout for more cabarets in the future 🤭. This one go out to my momma. I miss you girl❤️ 🎹: @branmuzsick by @alysser222

At 1:30 am my momma’s battle with breast cancer ended and she went home. If you knew my momma, she was charismatic, giving and would always have time to tell a joke. She introduced my sisters and I to the world of the arts, igniting my passion for theatre. In simpler words, my momma was a baddie and did what she wanted🤷🏾‍♀️. My Momma taught me that life is to be lived out loud and to enjoy every single moment of it. But my mom wasn’t one for the tears. So when you think of her just remember her smile cause she always walked through life with joy and laughter! Momma, I love you with the love of the Lord. Give Nana and Aunt Beverly a hug for me too❤️❤️ -Your Lyssie by @alysser222
