💜 During Hispanic and Latino/a Heritage Month, we're grateful for volunteers who bring empathy and dedication to every #EndALZ family.

Jazmin Martinez has always believed that education can change lives. She has spent her career designing programs for vulnerable communities; understanding the difference it can make when people feel seen, heard and are equipped with the right resources.

When she discovered the Alzheimer's Association, she knew immediately she had found a place to put that purpose to work. Now, Jazmin volunteers as a community educator, leaning into her professional expertise to deliver educational programs to families in her community.

For Jazmin, volunteering has been a transformative experience. Her most treasured moments are the visits to community centers where Hispanic families gather. "The warm welcome from the people and their heartfelt gratitude after every presentation mean the world to me," she said. "There is a spot for everyone here. The environment allows you to grow and make a real difference right away."
