Want some advice from MC post grad students on how to set yourself up for success? 👩🏽‍💻 👨🏼‍💻
Here are some Q & A from MC’s AMA panel today:

📉Q: What are the most important things to look for in a job after graduating?
📈A: Work culture; do people support each other at this company and how long do people stick around?
How the company defines growth. Are you passionate about it? How did the interview go?

📉Q: What skills did you wish you had to make your transition into the work force easier?
📈A: Excel, Microsoft 360, Adobe, Indesign, Photoshop, anaylzing data, digital marketing, and Monday.com
But also soft skills like adaptability, communication, and curiosity.

📉Q: What advice would you give yourself if you were a junior or senior again?
📈A: “Prepare well but know you’re not going to know everything”, “Find a company that allows you to mess up”, “Don’t put so much pressure on yourself, it will all fall into place”, “The Lord has you and hes there when you dont think he is.”

Involvement leads to internships which lead to jobs. How are you going to set yourself up for success? taken in Self Hall at Mississippi College by @ama.mc

Over spring break MC’s AMA Collegiate chapter had an amazing opportunity to attend AMA’s International collegiate conference in Chicago, IL🌃.

The conference offered an environment to grow in networking, engage with companies like @gartner_inc @graymedia @insight_global and @lorealparis and to listen to marketing professionals speak about how to “power up your career in today’s fast paced, ever-evolving world of marketing.” taken in Chicago, Illinois by @ama.mc
