Welcome to Tortuga! This set took forever to build, but its scale and detail astound me! One of the unfortunate side effects of being released through the bricklink designer program means that the figures have a restricted palate to be assembled from, but that is easily remedied…

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice! Happy Halloween everyone! Here are some figs from Beetlejuice. Most of these are 100% purist. I just added some braces bands to Beetlejuice himself to represent his sleeve cuffs. Probably the most complicated fig here is Miss Argentina, but her only mod was cutting up 3 different pairs of legs are gluing them together to represent her dress and shoes. She should probably be more greenish, but I thought the new Aayla head was perfect for her and couldn't find a good torso to use for green skin. I was thinking of adding a couple figs from the second movie, but I think that'll have to wait til next year. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed the Halloween countdown posts. I have plenty of ideas for next year too so don't worry :)

“La Grenouille”, Major Quinton Steele’s personal choice of vehicle.

Having seen much action in the Savanna of Safaraway, Africa, La Grenouille has never failed the Major once in any of his hunts.

For over a year I’ve struggled to continue monster fighters content to post, but having seen @lego.frenzy ‘s most recent post gave me the push I needed to release it all, beginning with a remake of the vehicle seen in set 9463.

Childhood figs- contest by @gcbricks

I adore the premise of this contest as it's something I've considered doing before on my own and this brought me to actually do it, even if it's very last minute.

Artist with a burning passion- I was very into atla as a kid and I envisioned this character being a mix of a fire bender and the Guy Gardner version of Green lantern. He went on many seafaring adventures in a ship I had built for him at the time.

The Spirit-monger- Wisened ice fisherman turned wizard who collects mischievous spirits utilizing his various wares, sort of a mythological figure as I read into various mythologies growing up and was very inspired by legends of Japanese Yokai.

Dr. Rodney Rathbone- While definitely not my own creation, he was my favorite pre-made character to use for my own stories. I wanted to be him; he seemed so cool to child me. He was perfect as he came, but that wasn't to say he didn't get any more upgrades as my childhood stories progressed. Since Frank Rock had been dismembered to create the wizard, Dr. Rathbone was my only intact Monster Fighter. Because of this, he often found himself fighting alone and getting into all kinds of trouble.
