About 250km north of Edmonton, far away from all the city glow, I saw a night sky that actually brought me to tears.
I spend so much of my life looking through camera, color grading, and trying to capture the exact feeling of a moment. But standing under the sheer, endless scale of the Milky Way, with the Northern Lights dancing across the horizon, I was completely humbled.
I snapped these on my iPhone just to keep a piece of the memory, but I’ll be completely honest…the camera couldn’t capture even 1% of the beauty that was out there.
Some things are just meant for the naked eye. Sometimes you just have to put the screen down, stand in the cold, and take it all in. taken in Fort McMurray by @amaldevsa
