AMALGAMATION CHOIR AT THE LOUVRE 🇨🇾🇫🇷

We are incredibly proud to share that Amalgamation Choir @amalgamationchoir is part of the landmark archaeological exhibition “Cyprus at the Louvre” / “Chypre au Louvre”, a major cultural event within the Cultural Programme of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026. #cyculture2026eu #cy2026eu

This is an important collaboration between the Deputy Ministry of Culture @depminculturecy, the University of Cyprus @universityofcyprus , the Louvre Museum @museelouvre , and the CYENS Centre of Excellence. @cyens_coe

Hosted at the Louvre Museum in Paris, the exhibition presents rare antiquities from the @departmentofantiquities_cyprus in dialogue with works from the Louvre’s own collection.

Through immersive digital technologies, ancient statues “interpret” traditional Cypriot songs that we recorded especially for this exhibition. For the first time in a European museum, visitors can hear 9 renditions of traditional songs from our homeland, Cyprus.
The songs were arranged for female voices by our artistic director and conductor Vasiliki Anastasiou @anastasiou_vasiliki and recorded and mixed by Mikaela Tsangari at Elbow Room Studio in Nicosia. @elbowroomstudios.eu

We are truly honored to have our ‘modern’ voices resonate a glimpse of Cyprus’ living heritage alongside its ancient past in such an iconic venue. ♥️

The exhibition runs until 22nd June 2026 at the Louvre Museum, Paris. 🇫🇷

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had this amazing experience, working with one of the best videogame soundtrack composers @oderiviere ! Being treated with absolute professionalism and respect should be a given but it doesn’t happen often. A huge thank you to him and his lovely team! We loved the music and everything about this collaboration ♥️

Good luck to the super exciting game @aplaguetale and we hope our voices will bring you a bit closer to Sophia and her world! #aplaguetale #resonance. taken in Nicosia, Cyprus by @amalgamationchoir

Our concert at Chatzigeorgakis Kornesios Mansion last month reminded us of something beautiful: how much we all love to sing together, laugh together, clap, dance, and connect through music.

We’re still in awe of how many of you came to share that evening with us. Thank you for your love, your incredible energy, and your support. ❤️🙏
