I’m beyond thrilled to finally share this bit of news…. ❤️🇬🇧🎻🔍

SON OF SHERLOCK: The Author’s Edition will be released 8 September!

After regaining the rights to the novel, I had the opportunity to revisit and, for the first time, create the version I always wanted. I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out.

For those who read the original edition, thank you. It means more to me than you know. This edition has been substantially revised and polished throughout, with a new ending, so there’s plenty here to rediscover.

If you’ve never read Son of Sherlock before, I’m so excited that this will be the one you get to experience.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this book over the years, and to the editor, proofreader, and artists who helped me finally get here.

To think the first draft was finished in 2009, and here we are. It’s been quite the journey. Never say never! I’m so happy to finally put this version out into the world.

So so proud of @madmanmendez for his amazing documentary Dernsie: The Amazing Life of Bruce Dern that premiered at @festivaldecannes last night. It was an incredible evening, one that will never be forgotten. I cried, several times!
