Got legally married 31 years ago today. Please behold the glory of the text I sent to our family this morning. Grateful for this life. Hope you are too. Even when it’s so hard, then I feels like a blessing again 💫 Good morning everybody. Just wanted to let you know that today is the very day Papa bear and 31st legally wed at the courthouse in Seattle (I was pregnant with triplets and swollen like a balloon. Rob was a legend and champion same as now. We went to the OG Wild Ginger for lunch, then Marymore park (Isuzu Trooper? First Suburban?) with Beau and London (and Si the chow we rescued from absolute shite show neighbors first home the edge of Carnation River . love and life and weddings are beautiful. I don’t think I have a single photo of us together on that day (though Tina has one of me alone standing by the window Rob took) In those days you couldn’t just turn a camera around to take a picture of both of you 😍💫 anyway, love you all so much and can’t wait to see you in 5 more sleeps ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Vashon Island! Today is the day! The Vashon High School Class of ‘26 will be rolling through town from noon-1 Saturday June 13 so we can celebrate graduation day in true Pirate style! This annual tradition started in 2020, and it’s so much fun!

Voice of Vashon will be broadcasting the parade live from JBBS studio in town. If you can’t make it to cheer in person, stream on YouTube and KVSH 101.9 FM.
