God is not sometimes holy, sometimes worthy, or only deserving of praise in certain seasons. He is always holy and always worthy no matter the circumstance.

What a privilege it is to publicly declare and cry out to Jesus. This song touches me in such a way that it draws worship from a deeper place in my heart. It reminded me that worship isn’t dependent on what God does for me but on who He is.

No matter the season, the answer remains the same and that is He is Holy Forever! by @amandaddoman

It’s not always I get a pic of all three in season together so this one is special to me.

I am so proud. Taylor, Seton Hall Prep, team got the win off Delbarton. Braylon, Immaculata team got a win off Pope John and my baby girl pitched the first game, did amazing, and came in as relief and pitched the third game. Her power hits brought in runs and her composure on the mound was incredible.
I love all you guys ♥️ by @amandaddoman

I AM THE ABC’s™ — My Journey 📚❤️
IG is @iamtheabcs

What started as an idea and a desire to share my own learning journey became something I never imagined would have a journey of its own.

From 2015 to 2016, 2020, and now 2026, this book has gone through different seasons, different publishing experiences, setbacks, lessons, pauses, and new beginnings.

There were moments when I stepped away. Moments when I wondered if I would ever pick it back up again but through every part of the journey, I learned something, not only about publishing, but about myself, my purpose, and the importance of continuing even when the journey doesn’t look the way you originally imagined.

Now, more than ten years after I first began, I AM THE ABC’s™ is preparing to relaunch with a new publishing date. I’m returning to it with greater understanding, a clearer vision, and so much more to share.

The same book. A refreshed vision. A new publishing date and so much more to come. ❤️

This has truly been a story of hope, learning, and purpose.

My story is their hope. ❤️

📚 PLEASE NOTE: My previous edition is still listed on Amazon. To avoid any confusion, please use the link I’m sharing to purchase the NEW October 2026 edition of I AM THE ABC’s™, priced at approximately $14.99. The older listing is from a previous publication.

Thank you all so much for your love and support throughout this journey.

This is the beginning of a new chapter, and I’m simply choosing to be still, trust God, and see what He does with it.

This is a reflection on my college journey and the day I received my bachelor’s degree in 2010. ❤️

It took me ten years to graduate and receive my bachelor’s degree in the study of psychology. Looking back, it was such a rough road. In 2000, I attended New Jersey City University believing that would be the beginning of my college journey and where I would eventually earn my degree but life had other plans.

I entered a relationship, became pregnant at 19, and gave birth to my daughter at 20.
Whatever dreams I thought I had at the time quickly shifted because my priority became raising my daughter. I had to grow up much faster than I ever expected. I completed what I could, but eventually had to withdraw. For a while, school was put on hold. A few years later, I enrolled at Raritan Valley Community College.

I kept telling myself, I’m going to go back. I’m going to graduate. I’m going to finish and I did! I earned my Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts, and I remember how proud I was of myself not just because I graduated, but because I kept the promise I had made to myself. After that, I was accepted to Rutgers University. That alone felt like another milestone given the academic struggles I had experienced since moving from the Bronx to NJ as a child. Rutgers wasn’t a school I ever imagined I would be accepted into.

During that time I was raising my daughter, pregnant with my second child Taylor, working, living on my own, commuting between campuses, and trying to balance everything that comes with being a young single mother.

Semester after semester, I found myself withdrawing. It simply became too much.
Then God placed someone in my path.
Her name was Petal. I knew her from church, and she worked at Rutgers. She sat with me and helped me find another path, one that fit the season of life I was in.

She introduced me to Thomas Edison State College, where I could complete my degree online while still earning a respected bachelor’s degree and walking across the stage in person. by @amandaddoman

I receive daily Scripture reminders on my phone, and today’s verse is a beautiful reflection of what Life Lessons Rooted in Jesus is about and what I strive to do in my own life.

“And why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?” — Matthew 7:3

Before I examine someone else, Lord, help me examine myself.

This verse reminds us how easy it is to notice a small fault in someone else while overlooking the greater work that may still need to be done within us.

Jesus wasn’t telling us never to help or lovingly correct one another. He was teaching us to approach others with humility, grace, and a heart that is first willing to look inward.

Lord, search my heart, correct me, and help me extend the same grace to others that You continually extend to me. 🤍
