‼️CONTENT WARNING: Violence, Language. ‼️ As an actor, I’m presented with work that I often consider and decline, for various reasons, in which I don’t align with the message, content, writing of the project. This one was not one of those. I was intrigued and excited to tell this story. The producers booked me quickly and thanks to an exceptional referral, (Thanks @dixielightatl 🌸❤️) I was working with elite professionals in the music and film industries, knowing the content was more than relevant and a hot topic. ICE had just hit the first news cycles, and after reading the script I felt like an agent probably wouldn’t be so aggressive with a woman. Wrong. This was months before the crescendo of violent altercations and over aggressive protocols shown nation-wide by ICE agents….and before Reneé Good’s murder. Little did we know the script played out over and over in real life and is interesting when storytelling intersects with premonition as it did here. If you don’t know his name, you know his work. Thank you Jim (@jimbeanzofficial ) and Ms. Toiya (@toiyatillman ) for letting me play! And watch out world for this force that played my daughter. Triple threat! (@destinysmusic ) Destiny is all that! #atlantaactors #atlantafilm #atlantaactress #eastcoasttalentagency #traintheseries by @amandadeljou

Throw back to when I worked for World Airways and had the privilege of meeting many of our brave military members headed to the theater of war in Afghanistan and Iraq. The gentleman on the left sent me his address AND his mother’s address. I wrote her to calm nerves and let her know her son is okay. I wonder where these guys are now? Being a f/a for World was a valuable experience to see the world through other people’s perspectives and beliefs. We all need to show more grace and humanize our neighbors in this big old world where life is so short! 🩷☮️ by @amandadeljou

Forever grateful my Dad told me in 4th grade that I was going to play soccer and he would be the Coach! I didn’t understand the amount of fun I would have! I learned the impact sports has on one’s life and how it translates into all aspects of character, work ethic, personality, drive, and the “never give up no matter what” philosophy parts of life. Soccer is one of my life long loves. Thanks Dad! I’ve been fortunate to play most of my life, college and co-ed, and have found so much joy in FÜTBOL! ⚽️💕 Dad called us the ANGELS 😇 which to my disappointment wasn’t fierce enough! Go TYSA soccer! #womenssoccer #womeninathletics #girlpower by @amandadeljou

PEACEMAKER 2 on HBO MAX. I worked a couple days on set as production took over a neighborhood south of ATL. Lots of imaginary circumstances came to life in post production CGi, as we played around an imaginary fireball, explosions, and a not so great ending for us “bad neighbors.” No spoilers so very vague:)

This is going to be a journey with these try-ons today. This prim lady loves pickleball and mini cucumber sandwiches (with the crust off and cut into precise triangles)….almost as much as being large and in charge. What book is this club reading, do you think? #rainydaydeadlines #nyactor #laactor #improv #atlantaactor #wardrobe #notaslate #wontletaitakeoverwithoutafight #ectagency by @amandadeljou

Marvel’s” Thunderbolts*” out now! I play a reporter searching for facts/truths, alongside the media swarm, from Congressman Gary (Wendell Pierce) as he answers questions with rapid fire from @malhoff and walks up these familiar Atlanta steps (church on corner of Ponce de Leon and Highland Avenues. It’s a beauty inside also, so I added the interior shots. @marvel @florencepugh #atlantaactor #atlantaartist #eastcoasttalentagency #marvel #atlantafilm @wendellpcg taken in Poncey-Highland Neighborhood by @amandadeljou
