This month we…

1. Learned about dandelions
2. (mostly just about how they taste)
3. Took some pics on the @campsnapcamera
4. Saw an epic rainbow
5. Fell in love w sumo oranges bc of @bretteiffes
6. Obsessed over fig jam
7. Bought a tiny house (450sqft baby!) and painted our kitchen cabinets yellow…. not sure I ever want to use a paint sprayer again 😅
8. Went for lots of walks
9. Enjoyed the afternoon sun in our bedroom
10. Had lunch at the Cubby Hole w Emily
11. FaceTimed @kyleiffes at work a million times
12. Said bye to @tumblem7 :(
13. Had Uncle Willy build us a range hood and spend hours re-installing cabinet doors 🥲 THANK U
14. Had a fam bday party & got a pair of baby vans from uncle @mathew.fisher2
15. Saw God in a lot of big and small ways & enjoyed little glimmers of goodness everywhere we found them
16. Played guitar together (only 1 song, but we’re trying to learn more haha)
17. Explored Straight From the Heart Bookstore and Koinonia Cafe
18. Let Foster rock bedhead many days bc #boyhood
19. Hung out with doggo

One year of sweet Foster 🤍 One year of motherhood. 3, soon to be 4, moves (pray for us, ha!) Unimaginable joys, some really hard days. Motherhood has been a magnifying glass over my heart, refining me and making me new 100 times a day. He’s full of laughter and color, he’s sweet and funny, he brings joy wherever he goes. His name means to foster a hymn of praise, and I find myself praising God because of him every single day. Children are such a gift! Thank you Lord for his precious soul 🫶🏼 by @amandaeiffes

This month he got lots of teeth, learned how to wave, started crawling really fast (and becoming interested in outlets 😵‍💫). He figured out how to stand & hold onto things, and he thinks everything we do is funny. Each month is my new favorite age 🤍 by @amandaeiffes

People told me not to get married young, not to start a family young, not to “waste” my twenties or my freedom by settling down. I’d give it up a million times over 🥲 These are the sweetest gifts of my life.

As this advent season begins, and we look forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior, I can’t help but reflect on all the things he’s done in my life. He’s taken me from searching for satisfaction and fulfillment in things like career success and the admiration of others to finding my deepest joy in His love for me. I once was lost in darkness, but now I look forward to the day I’ll stand face to face with the one who made a way for me to spend eternity with our good God. When my life is coming to an end, I pray I can look back with confidence on all the blessings the Lord has given me and know that I’ve been faithful in stewarding them well. Being a wife and a mama are two of those sweet blessings, and this Christmas season, I’m just so grateful to have them 🤍 by @amandaeiffes
