My husband, a true rock of our home and my heart. With another negative pregnancy test (after 3 years of trying, 3 losses and a surgery), I slowly started to crumble. I do every cycle. And Nick has always, always wrapped me in his embrace and prayed for me, for us. He knows where our true need is and where our help will come from. Yes, Jesus has given and taken away in my life; and I’ll never take it lightly that He gave me Nick. Everyday with him, in the highs and the lows, is a gift. I don’t know what Jesus has planned for our family, but I’ll always be grateful for the one I already have — with Nick. 🤍

He likes it “fluffy”. Really? I’ve worked my whole life to NOT make it fluffy!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve wasted so much time & product on him.

Sometimes I go hunting with Nick. When I do, I have to wash my hair with a shampoo called “Scent Away Max”. It pulls all product and smells out of my hair. And he LOVES it… I don’t understand.

Jesus is there… in the valley of the shadow of death. When I’d scream my grief to Him, angrily ask Him why, wondered if He personally wanted to hurt us, and being so numb I had nothing to say to Him. He’s there. Grieving our 3 babies pushed me into telling God my unfiltered feelings and words. And I found that He sat with me and poured love over my immeasurable heartache… Jesus grieved with me in the valley of the shadow of death.

And now, standing in a garden of being 21 weeks pregnant with our 4th baby, still I know He’s with me… as the creator and sustainer of our precious daughter. 💗 It’s by His grace and mercy alone that we are here. We don’t deserve anything. Every day we praise Him for our daughter’s life, health, and movement. And I thank Him through speechless tears.

He does have good plans, just in who He is - of being my Savior, Sustainer, Shepherd, Father and Friend. I am not alone. Nor are you. 🫂

Praying for all the couples who have suffered loss of their baby or are infertile - walking through the darkest valley. 🤍 Please join me in praying for them.
