Nestled beneath the Montana mountains at Montage Big Sky, Shivali & Chris exchanged vows beneath a mandap composed entirely of Montana wildflowers. Designed to honor both place and tradition, every bloom reflected the natural beauty surrounding them while creating a ceremony that felt deeply rooted, intentional, and utterly unforgettable.

When culture and destination are woven together with care, the result is more than beautiful. It becomes timeless.

Photography that belongs in a gallery. A backdrop that needed no introduction. A ceremony we’ll never forget. 🏔️✨

Dear Montana,

I came to you with small children, a lot of unknowns, and the hope that somehow we could build a life here.

And we did.

My children grew up here. And in so many ways, so did I.

You gave us mountains and long winters, wild summers and wide open spaces. You gave me room to start again, to dream bigger, and to build something I never could have imagined when we first arrived.

There were hard years. Beautiful years. Years when I wondered what I was doing and years when I looked around and thought, we did it.

I came here looking for a place to build a life.

Somewhere along the way, you became home.

Thank you, Montana, for growing up with us.

Love,
Amanda #amandajewel by @amandajeweleventdesign

A little more time together. A little room to exhale. Montana, here we come.

Join us November 8–9 at @sagelodge for our Montana Overnight. We’ll head to the hot springs, gather for cocktails and dinner, spend some time on the dance floor, and meet again over breakfast before saying goodbye.

The lovely thing about an Overnight is getting to pick up a conversation where you left it. Someone you meet at dinner becomes someone you’re looking forward to seeing the next morning. There’s time to get comfortable, share a little more, and build a friendship beyond the introduction.

Kianna Erickson of @goldenhour.eventsbzn is helping us bring it all together in Montana’s beautiful Paradise Valley, and we’d love to have you with us.

November 7 | Optional pre-party at AC Hotel Bozeman
November 8–9 | Sage Lodge, Pray, Montana

Visit the event page for lodging and registration details. Registration closes October 30.

Reserve your seat through the link in bio or Emerge app.

With gratitude to the creative partners making this experience possible. Please follow, recommend, and support their work!

When Big Sky weather has other plans, we make magic happen anyway.

After weeks of closely watching the forecast, crossing our fingers, and hoping Mother Nature would cooperate, we made the decision to completely pivot our plans just one day before the wedding weekend.

What was originally designed to be a Friday welcome celebration, suddenly became a day consisting of two distinct aesthetics and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes coordination. Japanese Meets Montana for the welcome celebration and Victorian Romance for the ceremony.

Cue the last-minute rental adjustments, timeline changes, vendor juggling, outfit changes, and about a hundred moving pieces. But through it all, our goal remained the same, to give our couple the wedding experience they had dreamed of, without compromising the vision we had spent months creating.

Every detail came together exactly as we had envisioned, just on a slightly different timeline!

This is the part of wedding planning that doesn’t always make it onto Instagram. The quick decisions, the problem-solving, the teamwork, and the ability to pivot when the unexpected happens.

A huge thank you to our incredible vendor team who didn’t hesitate to jump into action, adjust their plans, and make it all happen. It truly takes a village, and we couldn’t have pulled off this beautiful celebration without every single one of you.

Because at the end of the day, we can’t control Montana weather, but we can control how we respond to it and sometimes, Plan B turns out to be just as magical as Plan A. taken in One&Only Moonlight Basin by @amandajeweleventdesign

Jackson Hole is one of our favorite places to flower. We often have a full Wyoming itinerary in the summer and fall months for the AJ team for events. We designed this beautiful table for our good friend Kayla @foxtailsphotography most recently with a blanket for a tablecloth. Drop us a note if you are planning the big day in the Mountain West! #jacksonholeflorist #wyomingflorist Venue: @aurorasnowking taken in Jackson, Wyoming by @amandajeweleventdesign
