New favorite coffee shop unlocked ✨

I finally got the chance to stop by @victorygardensnursery in Meridian and let me tell you, this is THE cutest little spot for a coffee shop and garden nursery 🌸☕️

I mean coffee AND plants? Say no more 🪴

Coming from someone who has never had matcha before, I took a leap and tried the viral Chocolate Dubai Matcha. The mix of chocolate, matcha, pistachio, and crunchy kunafa was the perfect blend of earthy, sweet and salty. It was so good it was gone in under 5 minutes 😆

Since I’ve been feeling all the nostalgic vibes lately 🤣

Nobody is going to give you permission to move

The timing will never be perfect especially when you have kids, the market will keep changing, and everyone may not be on board

I mean we listed our home in Puyallup, Washington the day we went to the hospital to have a baby and then moved to Caldwell six weeks later! We both had jobs, tons of friends, our favorite breweries, and a routine that just made sense

After moving, I had postpartum depression and really started to wonder if we made the right decision

But now? I have zero regrets. Our family thrives out here in Idaho

Harrison Boulevard tucked away in Boise’s North End is known for their Halloween decorations and I have the perfect fall activity for you now that the temps are dropping (and it’s kid-friendly!)

Grab a coffee from your favorite local coffee shop, walk down Harrison Blvd to check out the Halloween decorations, and then hike Camel’s Back to take in all of the views

Switched up our usual witch hats and floating candles for more of a nostalgic feel this year by using $1.97 pumpkins from @walmart and ribbon pieces from @michaelsstores 🎃

Grab however many pumpkin pails you need from Walmart. We used a step bit to drill two larger holes for the ribbon and two smaller holes for drainage

Measure ribbon pieces for desired length (Michael’s has Halloween scrap ribbon bundles that are perfect for this) and then pull ribbon through the holes

We had Command strips from previous years on the porch and then added a few more to hang the pumpkins where we wanted them and then finish by adding a pumpkin light 💡
