The heartbreak of travel: last week my overnight bag and I were separated.
✔️Goodbye favorite shoes (which were also my show shoes), the best socks I have found and my lucky show socks.
✔️So long glasses and the perfect toiletry kit that was dialed in making it easy to pack in a flash.
✔️I’ll miss my Midge & Gypsy lounge pants Allen commissioned as a memorial to our pups.
But maybe the saddest loss of all is my perfectly broken in 7Seconds “Walk Together Rock Together” t-shirt that l’ve had since the 1900s.
After extensive brain scouring and scenario discussions, I made a 6 hour round trip to retrace steps and search the fields, woods and the hotel dumpster.
Alas, the result was none of my belongings being found and a confirmation that some person took took my bag; an act I simply cannot comprehend.
The clerk at the hotel said, “I feel that when someone takes something that doesn’t belong to them, they must really need it.”

Well, you know who really needs it: Me by @soulsidedc

Three years ago @sensorghost suggested I check out a record store called Blind Rage for a show. To my surprise we ended up playing the annual fest hosted by the shop.
Tonight is Bed Maker’s 3rd visit to Dayton thanks to Gwen. The record store closed earlier this year but show must go on…for this year at least.

Things to get excited about:

1: A new 7” (out this summer).

2: @blindrageshop Blind Rage Weekend in Dayton, OH. We’ll be there on Friday at @cosmo.joes.atomic.lounge

3: Playing a bowling alley on Saturday in Youngstown, OH with @caut1on_ & @interior_stations at @westsidebowl

4: The collapse of modern society as we know it? But only after buying our new record when it comes out.
