💜October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month💜.
The last six months have asked more of me than I can put into words. Some of it I may never share…... What I can say is that it was all-encompassing, and that I’ve been surviving and rebuilding at the same time.
I#
I’ve also learned that the protection we’re told to expect isn’t guaranteed. Don’t wait for the system to save you; it won’t. Build your own circle around you.

I’m posting this for anyone living inside something they can’t name yet. Trust what you’re feeling. Help is confidential and available 24/7.

Survival Chic 👌 ✨💚. #summer26. My #kindachic by @amandamintz

It happened this weekend. Hit it. Official. Fresh out of fcks given. None. Not ☝️ #nomorefuckstogive #nofucks
A few reasons why.
1. Life is short-anything can happen at anytime. 2. It’s not perfect. I’m def not perfect, nor is anyone I’ve ever met.
3.Laughing is way better than crying. 4.Control what you can .. don’t get me started on the topic🙄.
5. Grateful AF & Health that’s #1 . by @amandamintz

More coming…. Xo. (But first, Sleep ) by @amandamintz

I never met her.
My grandmother. My mother’s mother.

Irish Immigrant.
Married Julius Caesar Calabria, Italian Immigrant
Neither family approved. They built a life.

Every morning she woke my mom up with the same song:
🎶 Good morning to you. Good morning to you. We’re all in our places with bright shiny faces and this is the way we start our new day. 🎵

She was incredibly generous. She always made sure anyone who needed something got something. Ann says she was the very best.

That’s where Ann @mintz1537 came from. That’s where I come from.

Ann was getting ready for me. She tells this story every year.

Chanel pedal pushers. Loose re-purposed diamonds.
Details, that’s where I come from…..

She’s a LEGEND
@reredevaux .
Cherie DeVaux became the first woman in 152 years to train a Kentucky Derby winner. 🍾
Position isn’t destiny. Dead last in the stretch isn’t dead last at the finish.
Odds are just opinions .23-1 means nothing if you execute when it counts. 👑
Wait for the gap, then move.
She didn’t panic; She timed it perfectly.
2026 is THE Year of the Fire Horse. THE year. Also #44

WE can do anything we set our minds to. 🔥🐎 I love that for us!
More soon…. 🎤
