In a tube labeled “Dreams” . Why source wallpaper when you can just make your own? . That’s what we did here at @paperdollvintage Store manager and talented artist @amandareillyart hand drew the wallpaper to not only match our aethstetic but to tell a story of the customers that frequent the store. From the gossiping ladies, the the men of fire island, and the phoenix that rose from the ashes, this paper is very special to us. We almost went with a design we pulled from a magazine but @dominiquelefreak kept pushing Amanda to “make it more Amanda” and I’m so glad she did! . After we had the design I knew I had to reach out to @ryanvincentstudio who I worked with in the past doing custom wallpapers. He held our hands through the whole process and printed us this shiny beauty on high quality paper. Which was good cuz I had no idea what I was doing installing it and it took a beating 🤣 . The more I collab with others the more I love it! It’s hard to let go of some decisions or processes but whenever I do it elevates what I’m (we) able to accomplish . Couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out 🙏🏻 . . #customwallpaper #artdeco #vintage #vintageshop #wallpaperinspo by @amandareillyart

Don’t blink! - Here’s 1 month of work process condensed into 50 seconds! 😮‍💨 I had so much fun creating this skateboard and woodcut combination painting for the @thechristensengallery X @chapmanskateboards exhibition! I really pushed myself to do something a little more complex and intense than how I’m use to working, but in the end result I feel like I’ve grown and learned so much from this project! If you find yourself on Long Island before July 17th, go see my skateboard in person at The Christensen Gallery in Babylon, NY! 🐉🔥 #skateboard #skateboarding #skateboardart #christensengallery #thechristensengallery #occult #occultart #occultartists #horrorartist #horrorartwork #dragonart #surrealism #popsurrealist #popsurrealart #neosurrealism #contemporaryart #newyorkartist by @amandareillyart

I got so inspired to take my jigsaw woodcutting skills to a new project and it won’t be the last. More dragons maybe? 😬🫶🐉 The show is up until July 17th, go visit! #christensengallery #chapmanskateboards #dragons #woodworking #woodcut #jigsaw #skateboardart #skateboardartist #skateboardartwork #dragonart #dragonartwork #surrealartist #surrealism #occult #occultart by @amandareillyart
We are excited to announce that Amanda Reilly will be exhibiting as part of our collaboration with Chapman Skateboards this month! Amanda Reilly is an interdisciplinary female contemporary fine artist & illustrator based out of New York. She is known for her energetic, illustrative style and subjects immersed in chaos. She graduated from Farmingdale State College in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from their Visual Communications program. At FSC she received an outstanding academic excellence honors award by the Visual Communications department. Before graduating, she started professionally showing at various art galleries within New York. In 2020 “Human Nature” her solo show at Muñeca Arthouse of 30+ new works were featured on Hi-Fructose & she exhibited and was published in the Society Of Illustrators 62 (2020) annual publication . Amanda is the recipient of the NYSCA fine arts grant in 2024 for developing “Kaleidoscope Of Grief”, a solo exhibition of works at the Museum Of Contemporary Art Long Island Amanda speaks from her own experiences within her work. Her paintings and drawings depict the emotional strengths and shortcomings of humankind. Themes of grief, frustration, pain, self-doubt & loneliness run wild through her visual language. She strives to have the viewer see beauty in fault and dullness in perfection. As she states, “No body is perfect. We act on our emotional inhibitions. It’s what makes us grounded as humans. I think somehow, in some form or another, we are reminded of this every day in our lives.” Amanda’s work is visceral and chaotic. Each one of her compositions transports the viewer into intense colorful hellscapes that display colliding vivid pigments that vibrate off each other. Lines echo uneasiness, tension, and anxiety. She works primarily in painting and ink drawing but has stretched the limits of her work into more interdisciplinary practices, including animation and digital media. @amandareillyart @chapmanskateboards #art #artist #artstagram #acrylicpainting #woodcuts #contemporaryart #longislandpainter #patchogue #longislandart #acryliconwood #chapmanboards #chapmanskateboards #skatechlture #skatedeckart by @amandareillyart
Now showing at @curioartgallery! Celebrating their 10 year anniversary! 🖤 I’ve been doing a lot of visual exploration into deco and art nouveau elements for a separate project for the @paperdollvintage rebuild with @ricky.teevee soooo I decided to melt the two worlds together! A few hiccups along the process but I think the elements came together quite nicely! She even glows under UV light just like a vintage 70s velvet poster! 😮‍💨🤌 Gravitational Illumination Size: 18x24in Medium: Acrylic on wooden cradled panel Available now through @curioartgallery #psychedelic #psychedelicart #butterflyart #rockposter #darkart #lowbrow #contemporaryart #neosurrealism #artnoveau #artdeco #acylicpainting #uvart #uvlight #uvlightart by @amandareillyart
