Sharing a little bit more of my story since we are growing over here 🥹🤍 I’m a mom of four and will always tell you it’s the best thing my husband and I ever did- you will always find positive and encouraging mom content over here! Not that it’s easy, but that it’s worth it! My children have added so much to my world more than anything I’ve lost. 🌟 We downsized and are currently making our small home (lovingly called ‘the cottage’) a space we want to be in! Learning to be content has changed every aspect of my life! If you’re sick of being told you need more and constantly comparing life to others highlight reels, you may like it here 🌞 I am beautifully and wonderfully made! Having four children in five years has without a doubt changed my body. I truthfully believe that confidence and self acceptance will make you glow from the inside out. We are so so much more than what we look like and our differences and ‘flaws’ make us interesting and unique! Beauty doesn’t have a standard. 🤍🤍

I love sharing my life here and I love connecting with you! Thank you for being here and following along! Xxx by @amandasdemelo

Some parts of our house I never share 😌 and just your sweet sweet reminder that social media is just a highlight reel. We chose to downsize to live with more margin and I love all the “quirks” of our house and life! So grateful but also aware of all the little things!! by @amandasdemelo

Maybe not a revolutionary idea here, but I would not ever have described myself as the fun friend — BUT I did marry a fun friend and what I have learned is that most of the time, it doesn’t come naturally. Being fun and making the most out of small everyday things is a choice! And the more we make that choice, the easier it becomes. Kids operate at the level of play- the more fun something is, the more they want to do it! Does that mean every single thing has to be fun? Of course not— there are a lot of days when we show up and do things regardless of if they’re fun. But that doesn’t have to be everyday, in fact, I don’t even think it should be most days. The more that we enjoy motherhood, the better it becomes! by @amandasdemelo

I don’t wanna brag but I haven’t checked @zillow in 24 hours 😌 by @amandasdemelo

A rare sight— I’m not wearing soft pants!? Still on the hunt for good denim but thrifted these @americaneagle ones. The loose fit is a bit out of my comfort zone but was feeling inspired by Pinterest by @amandasdemelo

When we decided to downsize, it was because we wanted wider margins and a life that felt less pressured by money. And I meant every word of what I shared at the time. Now, we’re talking about moving into a bigger house… and I still mean every word.

I’m learning that contentment isn’t about proving you can live with less. It’s about not believing you need more to be happy.

I don’t want to spend my life chasing a bigger house, a prettier kitchen, or a life that looks better than someone else’s. But I also don’t want to turn contentment into a set of rules about what I’m allowed to want. I can love the little house that held our family of six and be excited about what’s next. I can be grateful for this season without needing to stay in it forever.

The goal was never to have less just for the sake of having less. It was to stop believing that more, more, more would finally be enough. I’ve been having amazing conversations in my DMs with some of you about this and felt this was important to live here in my feed! 🫶 by @amandasdemelo

#AD I could not do mom life without my best friends and prioritizing week nights out to get together requires a bit more effort but it’s never something I regret. Another thing I’ve been loving- drinking @athleticbrewing non-alcoholic beer on social nights out. No hangover and being absolutely present. Always worth it. #athleticbrewing #fitforalltimes by @amandasdemelo

It’s friday, sunny, chilly, and we’re going to the beach with our friends- my dream date 😌 learning how to put classic basics together and I know I’m an outfit repeater and keep showing you the same outfits but this is how I love to dress!! Always changing a few pieces to keep it fresh!

Pants is everyone’s favorite @donni
Top is new @larelaxed
Sweater is @babaa #51 in dark mist

Hi I’m Amanda- a mom of four who has just started working full time on this app and also is self proclaimed type b. I stink at sticking to things. Which is why I’ve always thought I just wasn’t a habits gal. But recently I realized, not having any good habits was actually a habit (and not a particularly good ones). My mornings were slightly chaotic and now that I started working, they became really stressful. Every morning felt like I was already drowning and behind on my to do list. So I am setting out to change those bad habits into some better ones.

🌀 number one- I’m waking up before the kids!!! Dang I have fought this one for too long
🌀 number two- I’m going outside and staring at the sunrise before I scroll
🌀 number three- I’m eating!!! Nourishing myself is really hard, especially in the mornings. I can be the last to eat and even sometimes skip breakfast (and have been this way since I was in high school 😵‍💫)
🌀 number four- and most importantly, I’m spending time in the word before I feel tempted to worry, or gossip, or complain (woops all bad habits of mine)

I heard it takes 21 days to break a habit so let’s goooo by @amandasdemelo
