This is yet another #latergram of a pic I took a couple of months back, but I was reminded that I wanted to post it after watching so many videos recently of folks down in the modern iteration of Mission Control during the current Artemis mission. It’s been a while since I’ve made any sort of grid post, so here’s some very banal completely unedited things from my recent life that I remembered to pull my phone out and take photos of.

1) Between the frigid cold week and the deluge week, we had one pretty weekday of 70°F sunny weather, so lunch hour tacos at a nearby joint were a must.
2) The light through the front window was prettier than the photo of it I took that evening.
3) A neighbor’s kitty now likes to frequent the back driveway area. It’ll meow back if I meow at it, but is not looking for pets from stranger humans.
4) Children’s area of the Austin Central Library had to put up a nice “don’t even try to climb up here” sign on that upper window.
5) Met the local Subaru dealership’s puppy while waiting on a little warranty work to be done pre-Christmas.
6) Lucille very neatly set up her Golden Girls and Barbie Little People on the lid of her living room toybox - this is not her norm. Typically she enjoys tossing her toys every which way.
7) Brought her to the indoor mall’s germ farm a week or so before Thanksgiving when outside weather was gross, managed to only have her pick up a runny nose for the week that followed. by @amandasg

When the miserable summer weather finally starts breaking enough in Texas for you to enjoy a bite and a brief read on the patio at work. It’s always a treat to have the chance to take advantage of the softer sunlight trickling through the foliage on a breezy morning - it feels just about perfect. by @amandasg
